2. Big Eden is a tiny fictional town in
northwestern Montana, as Preston
Sturges or Frank Capra might have
envisioned it. Timber and Cowboy
country. This is the story of Henry Hart, a
successful New York Artist, who returns
to the town of his childhood to care for
the ailing grandfather who raised him.
Back in Big Eden, Henry must come to
terms with his relationship to Dean
Stewart, his best friend from high
School, as well as the object of his
unrequited love. All these years Henry
has been pining for a dream image of
Dean from back then. This is also the
story of Pike Dexter, the shy,
unassuming Native American owner of
3. the town's general store, who is as
surprised as anyone to find himself
falling in love with Henry. The people of
Big Eden conspire and attempt to bring
Henry and Pike together.

5. The Normal Heart:
The story of the onset of the HIV-AIDS
crisis in New York City in the early 1980s,
taking an unflinching look at the nation's
sexual politics as gay activists and their
allies in the medical community fight to
expose the truth about the burgeoning
epidemic to a city and nation in denial.
7. We meet five Christian families, each
with a gay or lesbian child. Parents talk
about their marriages and church-going,
their children's childhood and coming
out, their reactions, and changes over
time. The stories told by these nine
parents and four adult children alternate
with talking heads - Protestant and
Jewish theologians - and with film clips
of fundamentalist preachers and pundits
and news clips of people in the street.
They discuss scripture and biblical
scholarship. A thesis of the film is that
much of Christianity's homophobia
represents a misreading of scripture, a
quack psychology. The families call for
love.
8. Why have I chosen these
moives?
A: I have chosen these movies because
they are related to the genre I have chosen
for my film. I live in the east and here
homosexuality and transgenderedness are a
Taboo and they are strongly condemned by
the society and in these films, it is shown
how homosexuality is considered a disease
by the society and how no one in the
society accepts homosexuality. These
movies provide me with examples of how I
can show in my film the problems a
homosexual person has to face and through
these I can show how the main character
who lives in a Eastern society has to face
9. humiliation and torture by his family and
society.
