3. INTRODUCTION
Water crisis is a situation where the available water within a region is less
than that region's demand.
According to International Monetary Fund (IMF) Pakistan is the 3rd most
affected country in the terms of water scarcity.
Pakistan’s water storage capacity is just for 30 days against the
international standard of minimum requirement of 120 days.
Pakistan receives 145 million acre feet of water every year but can only
save 9% of it
