School – Drama Studio

As the drama studiois verybusy,itwill onlybe accessibleafterschool.We checkedthe availabilityanditisfree on
MondaysTuesdaysand Fridaysafterschool,aswell asthe weekendshoweverwouldneedtogetthe site teamto
openup the school.We alsowontbe allowedtochange the lightswithoutateacherpresent. We have tobookthe
drama studioinadvance before use.
The gym isalso useda lotafterschool between3-5PMand sometimesduringschool,howeverdue tousnot
havingmanyfree periodstogether,we wouldratheruse the gymafterschool.
These bothclose at 8PM whenthe school closes,sowe hope tobookthe drama studiobetween3-6PMandthen
filminthe gymuntil 8PM.
How will everyone in the group get there:
We will be atschool so we will gostraightafter,which Harry and Tomwill drive toand Ciaranwill walk.
Obstacleswith filminginthese locations:
We will needateachertobe withus inthe drama studiotocontrol the lightswhich wouldmeantheyhave totake
that out of theirowntime
Due to both the drama studioandthe gym beingusedalot,availabilityisverylimited
Healthand safetyconcernsforthislocationandhow you will ensure itissafe andnoone is indanger/harmed,
whatprecautionswill youtake?:
Lighting– If our external lightsgetshot,we couldgetburntfromthem, sowe will avoidmovingthemwhile
filmingandgive themtime tocool downafterfilming
Injury – As we will be doingexercise ouractorscouldget injured,toavoidthiswe will make sure we stretchbefore
doinganyexercise anddon’tmake the exercise toointense
Tripping– Due to there beinglotsof wires,we couldeasilytripif notpayingattention,topreventthiswe willwire
the wiresaround the edge of the room and any wire thatcouldbe a hazardwill be tapedto the floorwithyellow
tape
Fallingoff stage – There isa drop betweenthe stage andthe floor(Roughly75cm) whichwe couldeasilyfall from
if not payingattention,we will setour equipmentbackroughly1.5mfromthe edge andavoidmovingaroundtoo
much to ensure we don’tfall off.

“Spelthorne Leisure Centre”gym – Harry worksat Spelthorne Leisure Centre socouldtryuse that inthe mornings
or eveningsbefore itopens/afteritcloseshoweverwe thinkthisgymlookstooprofessionalsowontgive our
musicvideothe rawfeelingwe wouldlike. Anditmaybe hard for people totravel there.
“St George’sSchool”Stage – Our classmate’sdad isthe headteacherat StGeorgesSchool inWindsor,itis local
and if we all arrangedto use it at the same time,itwouldmake iteasiertosource people aswe couldall helpeach
other.
