the interrelationships of circuitry, and a detail-oriented individual who is results driven. I have a strong work-ethic, and experience working

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
CHENEGA TECHNICAL INNOVATIONS
Security System Specialist, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (Contractor) Dec 2013 – July 2014
 As an associate of the J2-IDS Team, I conducted security assessments, installed, monitored, administered, and maintained, automated IDS,
biometric, access control systems, CCTV, and surveillance cameras, throughout the JTF GTMO Bay Naval Station.
 Monitored all IDS and access-controlled facilities monthly to determine if any deficiencies exist in the system.
 Provided the Security Manager and all security representatives with the results of any and all deficiencies discovered during the monitoring
process.
 Generated and distributed user codes, trained users on the proper operation of the equipment, and provided the required documents to the
Security Manager.
 Performed routine maintenance on all badging systems and associated equipment.
 Reported all known security violations to all Command Security Managers, and facility security representatives.
 Maintained an ample supply of inventory to keep facility at its peak operating capacity.
BAE SYSTEMS
Engineering Technologist I, Djibouti, Africa (Contractor) June 2010 - Aug 2012
 As a member of the ESS Maintenance Team, I conducted routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Tactical Automated Security
System (TASS), including: the associated microwave and infrared detection, transmitting, and receive devices. Alarm Monitor Set AN/USQ-
139, Pelco & Sentry II security camera system, Lenel security system, future fiber technology, fiber optic cable installation, splicing, testing,
and MADAHCOM waves announcing systems.
 Performed basic technical principles to help improve engineering production and operational functions of the site.
 Performed time based inspections and preventive maintenance during construction projects.
 Worked jointly with various groups of engineers to apply up to date technology techniques in the field of automated security.
 Provided ongoing assistance to base force protection personnel and commanders for deployment of systems.
DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY

 Repaired the following electronic equipment and related systems: computers, industrial controls, audio and video systems, transmitters,
antennas, and servomechanisms following blueprints and manufacturers' specifications.
 Utilized various hand tools and test instruments.
 Performed routine troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical and solid state equipment.
 Performed regular preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment to determine any possible defects and causes of equipment
malfunctions.
 Communicated with equipment operators to discover problems with equipment before breakdown occur, and to determine if a breakdown is
due to human error or mechanical problems.
 Documented all equipment returned to service and performed routine checkup, maintenance, and improvements.

 Installed cable ladders, fiber optic, cat, and coax cables, performed termination of copper and fiber optic connectors, installed Panduit for the
routing of the data and voice cabling.
 Mounted communications cabinets, terminated and connected power, ground and signal cabling to cabinets as indicated in engineering
installation plans. Conducted 66 block punch downs at communication facilities.

Electronics Worker, Parris Island, SC May 2006 - June 2007
 Operated, maintained, troubleshoot, installed and perform corrective maintenance and repair procedures on new electronic audiovisual
equipment, which called for use of electronic and audiovisual equipment theory implementation.
 Collectively worked with my supervisor at all Weather Training Facility to perform required maintenance checks, repair and setup of
state of the art audiovisual systems, photographic and video equipment (CATV) in academic classrooms and auditoriums.
 Assessed subsystems and performed preventive maintenance that was designed to evaluate and benefit the systems operational
efficiency to avoid breakdowns.
UNIDYNE CORPORATION
Technical Assembler, Norfolk, VA June 1999 - Nov 2005
 Worked with detailed instructions and followed all manufacturing standards, assembly methods, quality standards, and any other
documentation required to fabricate, assemble, and repair electronic modules, packages, and associated components.
 Used electronic tools, and test equipment to assemble and install category 3, 5, 6, coax, and fiber optic cables.
 I terminated RJ-11, RJ-45, MTRJ Unicam, ST-style, Multipin, and coax connectors.
 I was required to setup workstations, switches, link system, and telephone closets; and i also conducted analysis of prints and drawings.
 I documented and kept detailed records of all components assembled.

Assistant Work Center Supervisor/Interior Communications Electrician June 1983 - May 1990
 Managed & trained Interior Communications Electricians (ICs) around the maintenance of telecommunication systems performance.
 I directed the installation and adjustments of communication and navigational aid systems.
 Utilized the Lockout/Tagout system was utilized prior to performing any maintenance work. Installation and repair of equipment
needed for interior communications within ships and shore facilities. These communication systems include public address systems,
telephone systems, alarm systems, ships control and equipment monitoring devices, the ship's gyrocompass, audio-visual equipment,
and advanced navigation.
 Employed standard troubleshooting methods using technical manuals, schematics, block diagrams, and drawings to rapidly isolate
malfunctions.
 I received a superior performance, as a member of the FZ Maintenance Team, during the Naval Technical Proficiency Inspection
(NTPI).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: CHENEGA TECHNICAL INNOVATIONS Security System Specialist, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (Contractor) Dec 2013 – July 2014  As an associate of the J2-IDS Team, I conducted security assessments, installed, monitored, administered, and maintained, automated IDS, biometric, access control systems, CCTV, and surveillance cameras, throughout the JTF GTMO Bay Naval Station.  Monitored all IDS and access-controlled facilities monthly to determine if any deficiencies exist in the system.  Provided the Security Manager and all security representatives with the results of any and all deficiencies discovered during the monitoring process.  Generated and distributed user codes, trained users on the proper operation of the equipment, and provided the required documents to the Security Manager.  Performed routine maintenance on all badging systems and associated equipment.  Reported all known security violations to all Command Security Managers, and facility security representatives.  Maintained an ample supply of inventory to keep facility at its peak operating capacity. DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY Electronics Worker, Parris Island, SC May 2006 - June 2007  Operated, maintained, troubleshoot, installed and perform corrective maintenance and repair procedures on new electronic audiovisual equipment, which called for use of electronic and audiovisual equipment theory implementation.  Collectively worked with my supervisor at all Weather Training Facility to perform required maintenance checks, repair and setup of state of the art audiovisual systems, photographic and video equipment (CATV) in academic classrooms and auditoriums.  Assessed subsystems and performed preventive maintenance that was designed to evaluate and benefit the systems operational efficiency to avoid breakdowns.
