KHURAIS EXPANSION PROJECT:
a) Responsible for Splicing and Termination of copper cable from
Temporary Communication Shelter MDF (main distribution frame)
thru particular Pedestals.
b) Provides training and assistance on technical control problems to
subordinates.
c) Responsible for installation of Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and
splicing from Quick Connect Modules (QCM) stub out cable to KV
Closure in temporary communication shelter.
d) Supervise personnel (splicers) to complete the task in accordance
of Aramco standard.
e) Distribute cable pairs to certain pedestals as per Aramco cable
Layouts.
f) Implement cable plans and layouts to physical execution of works.
g) Installation of Cabinets, SSS closure, RJ45 panels, Bus Bar, 489
panels, ADC campus RS Modem, Alcatel Omni switch and UPS.
h) Bonding of Main groundings (ground grid or ground rod) in Bus Bar
to equipment, closure, cabinet, 489 panel and cube-IT
i) Installation and activation of voice/data circuitry in each port cabins
and temporary offices.
j) Splicing and Termination of copper cables in RJ45 panels and
SSS Closure inside cabinets and cube-IT.
k) Estimation of materials and personnel on each project.
l) Primary testing (continuity testing) using regular ohmmeter and
Final testing using DSL990 fluke.
KHURAIS OAM (Operation And Maintenance) ARAMCO:
a) Responsible for Maintenance and keep operation of 6,300 lines
from Temporary Communication Shelter to certain users.
b) In-charged of installing and activation of Positron Teleline Isolator 8
shelves, including Data cards, single and dual POTS cards, and
Power Supply card.
c) Perform quality control checks on newly installed system.
d) Responsible of re-splicing and re-testing of copper cable in DB
closure or Raychem closure of accidentally damaged copper cable.
e) Configuration of ADC campus RS Modem.
f) Activation of Data/Voice circuits, from MDF thru TER/TR to certain
points.
g) Minimized and Troubleshoot faulted Data/Voice circuit.

any Aramco contractors to temporary comm. shelter.

c) Responsible for all necessary accessories for all cable lay out such
as: depth/wide of cable trench, sand beddings, terra/warning tapes,
EMS, sub ducts, split and solid plugs, marker post, led tags and
duct banks.
d) Involved in drum testing, splicing, primary and final testing of
F.O.C. from A to B mark point by OTDR and Power Meter.
e) Erection of Communication Cabinets and installation/splicing of
accessories such as: SSS closure, 489 panel, F.O.C. Patch panel,
jumper organizer, buzz bar and termination of electrical outlets.
f) Installation of telephone sets, 502 protector, electrical and relay
box, and telephone acoustic box in Well Sites gate/control valve
and in RTU.
g) Installation of backboards, equipment racks, vertical racks, F.O.C.
Patch panel, 489 panel, SSS closure, jumper organizer, patch cord
organizer, multi media converter, switches, buzz bar and electrical
outlets in communication room.
h) Bonding and grounding to earth ground is must.
