• Satellite Communications shift lead who supervises a team of satellite technicians. Provides
operations and maintenance support and guidance as required for the satellite sites. Supervises,
and trains the workforce while providing operational guidance to military personnel.
• • Prepared organizational and daily reports to upper level management and satellite
controllers• Insured incoming personnel are trained on operations and maintenance of AN/USC-
60 Flyaway Triband Satellite (FTSAT) Terminal.
• 13 years experience providing strategic support for USCENTCOM. While operating support
over DSCS X-Band satellites, FTSAT terminals follow the procedures prescribed by Ground
Mobile Forces SATELLITE Communications (GMFSC) Controller. Configured terminal and
maintain satellite access in accordance with deployment orders and technical manuals. Establish
over the satellite communications with GMFSC Network Controller anytime the satellite is
accessed and promptly report all equipment problems, user outages, or any conditions affecting
communications to the GNC
