During the October the EU passenger car market continued to suffer mainly due to the "shortage" of raw materials that
is slowing down the production and therefore cars delivery (OEM supply chain has luck of stocks and production
rhythm is slowing for all brands). The increase has been registered only for 3 out of 30 countries (Norway, Ireland and
Iceland) and decrease for 27 countries (highest decline for Lithuania -62,0% in October 2021 vs. 2019)

Italian car market continues the year with a double-digit decline even if we compare it to 2019.The "shortage" of raw materials is
slowing down the production and therefore cars delivery (OEM supply chain has luck of stocks and production rhythm is slowing
for all brands). Moreover, the "slowdown" of state incentives has furtherly slowed the demand. In October 2021, 101.015 new cars
were registered, -35,8% vs. 157.262 of October 2019. All segments in October has lost in volume compared to 2019: Private
segment was recovering better than other segments (-14,9%), while Fleet registered -26,2% and Business -39,1%. Main optimistic
numbers are related to EV sales (+653,3% in October 2021 vs. 2019 with 7.134 registered units this month) and hybrid sales
(+225,5% or 41.192 units registered more than in October 2019). More than 358.871 cars were lost in the first 9 months of 2021,
with 1.266.629 units registered, down 22,1% on 2019.

◼ Over the last two years a progressive evolution of fuel type
mix in Italian market has been observed
◼ In particular, respect 2019, in October 2021 Petrol and Diesel
had a relevant lost in terms of market share (-20.0 p.p and
-18.0 p.p respectively) and alternative fuel types, have
increased their market share from 8,6% up to 47,1%
◼ Still, these increase was due mainly to mild hybrid vehicles
(HEV), that are actually not "real" electric vehicles, while the
contribute of PHEV and BEV was less important
