As in July and August, September has been affected by the new EU testing
scheme (WLTP*) which has been introduced at the beginning of September.
The WLTP slowed registrations in all the EU countries and Italy is no
exception. All channels have suffered a slow down in registration but while
private registrations outperformed the market (-16%), fleet and business
channels registered a -38% and -35% respectively.
Also self-registrations are down if compared to September 2017 (dealers -16%
and OEMs -88%)
