9. • RB Parking’s positive effects increased as congestion increased.
• In events and organizations RB parking can be considered as a way to
relieve the network and increase it’s efficiency.
• RB Parking grants the network with:
– More room for CS traffic.
– Less PS RRC Congestion
– Better Success rates for both CS and PS.
• In the event of minor congestion, RB parking should be carefully
implemented as it might result with bad User Experience. 1 UE that
cannot be RAB allocated will have to wait for a minute whereas another
RRC attempt might have been succesfully allocated.
