This power-point explains my initial ideas towards my teaser trailer. A lot has changed since my initial ideas.

3. The target Audience The target audience for my film would be men and women who enjoy watching ‘quirky’ films which not everyone will have heard of. I want to direct the teaser trailer most to 17/18 year olds who may be able to empathize with my main character who will be alone and having a hard life trying to fit in after moving from New York to England. *Note: I will be able to show footage from NYC during the October half term.

4. Locations that I want to use The look that I want to create in my teaser trailer is the country, as the neutral colours of the grass will help relate it to the genre of indie.

Initial research into locations Adderbury lakes Lucy Placket playing field woods Fields leading to Bodicote Brooke from Adderbury Adderbury fields Farthinghoe fields ‘The Deli’ cafe New York – times square Cherwell Heights fields Road to Horley A lot of the scenes would be filmed at around sunset in order for the look to be fulfilled.

6. mood board I like this shot as it could say a lot if you had the right elements in the shot. . I like the idea of all the colours mixing together; either with a neutral look or a bold look. Also, from this picture I like the messy look. The idea of laying down on the grass with leaves surrounding the girl could work with the camera spinning creating a dizzy feel.

7. Plot ideas The plot which will be given away is: The girl is lonely She meets a guy who helps her through her problems but doesn’t fall in love with him. She spends her birthday on her own – a shot could be her blowing out candles and then it blacks out. Maybe at the end?
