3. Research
• My strengths were it was good to look up information and pictures on the
internet about vegan ideas and some ideas of what I would include in my
vegan life styles magazine. I looked at makeup, skincare, handbags, vegan
celebrities, vegan foods and vegan magazine. I used all of the research apart
from the handbags because I didn’t have time.
• I could have looked into vegan life styles magazine more. To get inspired, I
could have done a little survey about how people would like a vegan lifestyles
magazine.
• I could have improved by looking at more vegan lifestyles magazines and
talked to more people about how they became vegan and their tips of how
they became vegan and what they like about the vegan lifestyles and foods
they eat and the makeup they wear and where they buy the vegan makeup
products from.
• What effect would this have had?
• It could have made my content more detailed. I could have interviewed vegans
to find out how they became vegans.

4. Planning
• Strengths
• I came up with 3 ideas like baking magazine and travel magazine and a vegan
magazine. I chose to do the vegan magazine because I am into the vegan
lifestyles and vegan makeup, and vegan skincare, and vegan fast foods places
and vegan supermarkets. The plan helps me plan what I wanted to include in
each page. And it helps me plan my layout.
• Weaknesses of planning
• I could have looked at a real magazine in a big supermarket and the different
layout that they used in their magazine. This could have given me more ideas
about what people like in a vegan magazine and then I could have put more
on my front cover.
• Improvements
• I could have made the content longer and I could have added a vegan handbag
page.
• Effects it would have had
• I could have included a section on vegan clothing including shoes and clothes.
This would have made it more interesting.

5. Time Management
• I think I managed my time well and I did some
work out of class. I completed my project on
time.
• I could have done more pages for my
magazine. I could have done a vegan fashion
page and could have done vegan shoes page
and could have done a vegan handbag page.

6. Technical Qualities
Similarities
I used the same styles of writing (fonts)
for my magazine. The front covers are
similar because I have my image in the
middle of the page. I have big bold titles
for my magazine. I have lot of writing on
my vegan magazine. I have a similar title
page called vegan lifestyles magazine.
Differences
Different colour texts. Different image for my
vegan magazine. Different fonts and different
colours. And different cover page and
different titles page. Different layout page like
vegan fast foods, vegan makeup, and how to
make a vegan body scrub recipe. Different
coloured background. I chose in your face
colours like rainbow colours and different
images to go with the titles page for my vegan
magazine.

7. Aesthetic Qualities
My strengths
I am good at creating my magazine in Photoshop am good
at putting the image into Photoshop I am good at creating
background using Photoshop and good at using the
colours tools button to create my vegan lifestyles
magazine. I am good at coming up with new ideas for my
magazine cover and am good at creating different
background colours
I am good at laying out my work to make it look good. I
am good at doing different styles and different fonts for
my magazine. I am good at choosing nice and big images
for people to see on my vegan lifestyles magazine. I am
good at coming up with different colours and am also
good at thinking of what colours would look nice on the
different background colours.
My work looks really good and very colourful and
I chose good images to go with each of my
magazine pages. My work looks very creative and
I put a lot of time and effort into doing these
magazine page covers. I am happy with the
magazine I think the backgrounds are very
creative and very colourful.
What aspects of my magazine do you like?
I like the images I have chose for this vegan
lifestyles magazine. I like also the big and bold title
pages. I like the colours of the background. I like
the layout of my vegan lifestyles magazine. I also
like the different styles and the different fonts that I
have chosen.
Does your work look good ?
What could you improve on ?
I could improve by making some more pages
for my vegan lifestyles . I could have used
columns . I could have cut out the images. I
could have matched the colour of the fonts
to the image. I could have made the title
bigger and more eye catching.
Weaknesses
I could check for spelling and
proof read to see if I could
add anything else. I could
have different variety.
How would you improve?
Look in more depth into more
vegan magazines. Look more
into foods magazines.

8. Audience Appeal
My magazine would appeal to young women who like makeup
and it is fashionable to become a vegan and because it is fun,
colorful. It is a lifestyle choice that you have to make. Young
people like to look at celebrities and get inspired by different
makeup looks. The background colour is funky and bright like a
rainbow. And young people would like the different fonts and the
different styles and they are on different angles. The images
would appeal to my audience because they standout on the
page.

• What did you like about the product?
– I like how it is really bright and colourful. It is eye catching
and the colour schemes are consistent throughout. There
is a good selection of pages to do with the Vegan lifestyle.
• What improvements could have been made to the
product? Could have had an interview with someone
asking about what they like about being Vegan.

• What did you like about the product?
• I liked the style, use of images and use of colour which is quite consistent
throughout. Most of the colours went well together e.g. mid pink, mint green and
turquoise.
• One page – vegan supermarket page was different (see below). I liked the rainbow
effect.
• You have covered a range of lifestyle topics that are relevant to vegans.
• I particularly like the pages about make up and the body scrub recipe. Good
balance of text and images.
• What improvements could have been made to the product?
• Vegan Celebrities page – you could have added the celebrities names, what they
are known for and brief details.
• The vegan supermarket magazine page, seemed a bit different in terms of style. I
appreciate that it is a different product, but I felt it was a bit too bright, you could
have toned it down a little by using more muted colours, so that it would fit in with
your overall style.

• What did you like about the product?
I like the way the magazine is set out I also like the
combination of colours for the backgrounds. The
images work well together also I like the bold titles.

the product?
• Although there is a lot of photos maybe they
could be more going on because the page looks a
bit bare.

• What do you agree with from your peer feedback?
• I agree that I could have interviewed a vegan about
what it is like to be a vegan. I could have use muted
colours instead of using bright colours because the
bright colours don’t fit in with the other magazine. They
like the combination of colours. The images work well
together. And the bold title page. It is colourful, eye
catching and the colour schemes are consistent. There is
a good selection page to do with the vegan lifestyles.

• I am happy with the feedback they gave to me.
