2. Possible Topics
• Help and encouragement to go vegan- This idea would fit well with the approach I have already taken with the
questions in my questionnaire, for example I have asked bloggers ‘Do you have any word of encouragement for
those thinking about becoming vegan?’ this would also fit well with Veganuary’s theme.
• Vegan Celebrities- this would act like celebrity endorsement, if people saw that a celebrity they like or know of, it
would add further encouragement to go vegan. I could also do fact files on vegan celebrities (next slide).
• Clothing and makeup brands- as I have asked in my questionnaires what makeup/clothing brands are their
favourites- I have the information available to make this a topic.
• A ‘top pick vegan recipe’ section, this would take up a page of the booklet and would be helpful to people thinking
of becoming vegan as its something they could try to see what its like.
• A ‘you didn’t know this…’ section e.g. section in the top corner with tips and tricks, and things that people thinking
of being vegan maybe didn’t think of e.g. even some buttons on blouses are unsuitable for vegan because they are
made of pearl.
• I might also include and create adverts for some vegan companies in my booklet to fill up some of the pages.
3. Factfile Ideas
• Vegan celebrity factfile (about them, what made them go vegan).
• What they can and can’t eat.
• The best vegan restaurants.
4. Ideas For Infographics
• 10 Vegan-friendly Cities (cities with the best and most vegan places to eat).
• Where to get protein, calcium, iron and vitamins from when being vegan e.g. infographic showing
vegetables you can get that from.
• Vegan recipe done as infographic
5. Multipage Spread Topics
• Interviews- Use one of the responses to my questionnaire that i sent out to Bloggers to act as an interview.
(include pictures and instagram/blog details to bulk out the pages so it doesn’t swamp the reader with
words/information.)
6. Art Style
• Font- I want the font of my booklet to be quite rustic/nature like as I think this would fit quite well with
what Veganism is all about. I could look on Dafont for fonts which would fit the style I am looking for.
• Images- I could use pictures in my booklet to act as a visual aid to what I am talking about in a particular
section. They would also be useful if I do an interview for my multipage spread because I could use
pictures from the blogger’s instagram page to add further detail as to what they were talking about. I
could also use images to go alongside my fact file to make them more interesting i.e. images of the best
vegan restaurants or vegan celebrities.
• Colours- I want the colours of my booklet to be bright and eye-catching greens as I think the green theme
will link well with veganism but using bright colours will make it eye-catching and will make it more
appealing and enjoyable to read instead of being dark and dull colours.
• Text- this isn’t technically an art style but I want the tone and language in my article to be inbetween
formal and informal, e.g. I want it to be chatty but not too informal that it stops being informative, I want
my article to be accessible to my audience so I think it being informal would do this as my audience is
likely to be aged from the age of around 16-30.
