Control Room Technician February 2014 – Present
Key responsibilities:
Use WCS to:
Manage the flow of orders from Goods in to Goods out.
Investigate orders.
Monitor and release batches for E-COM/Retail/Purging – noting despatch
times for retail and when they should be released.
Run reports to show analysis e.g. picked amount, left to pick and volumes for
the day.
Identify and escalate any issues to the team and management.
Use SCADA to:
Monitor faults and lease with onsite engineers.
Prioritise faults as urgent and low risk.
Have a good understanding of the automation and cover if engineers.
Run reports regarding to faults and down time of the automation.
Escalate any issues to management and also the incident manager.
