Operations Team Leader
Working within the warehouse, my role was to increase operational performance
effecting all departments. One of the methods I helped introduce to enable this was to
move fast moving stock lines closer to the Dispatch department to reduce traveling
time increasing performance rate.
In this role I worked closely with the Location Management team to help identify
faster moving stock lines using the HIPS database.
Locating Line Items and “Customer Demand” the lines was moved to the end of
racking locations.
I have also undertaken numerous projects over several years helping maintain high
standards in Health and Safety and performance.
I’ve worked closely over the years with Customer Services working on Dispatch,
attending meetings to look at the process of deliveries and identifying problem
solving. I’ve also visited outside Customers to help resolve underlying problems
helping in Customer satisfaction
An in-depth knowledge of the RESUS warehouse management system is required, as
there are many links and dependencies on concurrent background system and
operations processes.
