Personal statement
I am currently a store manager within H&M, having worked within the retail industry for over 15 years,
I am now looking for a part-time opportunity where I can use the skills I have gained over the years. I
am passionate, committed and enthusiastic.
I am fluent in French as I have lived there for a large period. I also have a full clean driving license.
Within my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, music, exploring my city and surroundings. Spending time
with friends and family aswell as meeting new people.

store. I then became assistant store manager then a store manager, a role I have been doing in over

Manage and control recruiting/training/developing/succession planning for all of my team
Maximising profitability, working with goals, budgets and cost follow up.
Ensuring safety, security and administration procedures are followed.
Leading a team of 5 mangers, including an admin and 2 visuals, 25 sale advisors. Also training future
managers within a strict timeframe.

Started as a sale advisor, working on the deliveries, tills and shop floor duties. Being eager to further
myself, I started taking on extra task, ie, mentoring new staff, shoe responsible. I then worked my way
up into management.
