I have successfully worked for many years managing my own boutique businesses and currently work as a
freelance yoga instructor. I am a free thinkeras I have I proved many times when working under pressure. I
am very customer orientated with good organizational skills and havea proven track record in creativity with

Owner/managerof a retail boutique store in Hitchin Hertfordshire, that offered a personal service akin
to a dressing room. Provided a professional approach to helping the customers enjoy the whole buying
experience. I ran and promoted fashion shows with models wearing exclusive designer fashion clothes.
In the role of owner/manager I had many duties to fulfill but by doing so I learned new skills quickly and
this has given me a greater understanding of everything that is needed to run a fashion business
successfully. I managed staff recruitment, training, sales targets, budgeting, monitoring KPI’s,
Merchandising, Payroll and HR. I personally ensured excellent standards in all areas especially customer

In the years from 1990 I have had a varied and exciting life both at home and at work. I am the proud
mother of four children who have now left home. In the early 90’s I spent time when at home working
as a nail technician as well as home hairdressing for four years. In the late 90’s I began to work for a
charity based in Africa called Reach The Children. This is something I am still involved with today. The
charity works with impoverished children in the rural environment in Kenya and Uganda who have had
parents affected by the AIDS epidemic some of whom had passed away. I visited Kenya on several
occasions working with the charity and hope to do so again in the future.
