MODEL VILLAGE AND
MODEL NATION
Shelter in a better way, for everyone;
Pollution free atmosphere and greenery everywhere;
Life full of joy, prosperity and peace;
Chapter 16: Facts and figures on
Urbanisation.
16.1. F&F – Shower – trees uprooted - traffic disrupted.
Source: News paper.
Source [192]
]Quite often we see and read news like this. And this type of damage can happen not
only to the vehicles but can take the life of the individuals.
Whenwe are planningforthe CRS – CRTS we can planinsuch waythat evenif the tree fall it should
not fall on the parked or moving vehicle. If we are implanting some trees on the sides of the road
we can estimate the total lengththatthe treesgrowsand thuswe can choose the suitable place for
itsimplantation.We canconcentrate more on the thin (open) forest area to implant the trees that
we needforour future than implanting the plants the sides of the road. Even if we are implanting
the plantson the sidesof the road we can implant plants like fruit plants like which is not going to
grow long and it is strong, and the people moving in the road can take rest eat some fruit and can
proceed.
16.2. F&F – Knowledge banking.
Source: News paper.]
We see adslike this,withthe establishmentof MV and NES – VPS/C (National education services –
village panchayat school / college) we establish such centres in every VP to help and guide our
young generation.
16.3. F&F – Future MV, may be like this.
This is one MV.
This is another MV.]
This is another MV.
Picture Source: News paper.]
Create palaces for all the people, not only for one person so called the β€˜king’. Make the people to
work and convert their work in to palace, which is possible only by co operation and coordination
through VPA.
16.4. F&F – Future MV, will have things, which favour positive
health.
[Club house and swimming pool.
Sports complexes.
Source: News paper.]
Make the people tolove the life,leteveryone enjoythe life asmuchas possible.Create the worldin
such a way that no one feels mental pain for anything.
16.5. F&F – Future MV, will be secure.
Source: News paper.]
Let us create a very secure place for all of us in the model village that we are going to create in
every aspect like electricity, gas pipeline, building and so on in a scientific way.
16.6. F&F – Future MV, less chances of getting accidents.
Source: News paper.]
It is possible to make things in such a way that, this type of news should never come back with
creation of MV with science.
16.7. F&F – Future MV, will not be created at the flood prone areas.
[Floods.
Floods.
Source: News paper.]
All the waterwhichgenerate duringthe time of floodwill be effectivelydivertedto the areas which
requiresthe waterforirrigation at the higher level through RCS. So the incidence of the flood will
decrease to the maximum level. The model villages are constructed at a very safe area so floods
making the people homeless will not arise.
16.8. F&F – Future MV will not have the problems realted to
present Urbanisaton.
[Urbanization:
The expanding Los Angeles metropolitan area is an early example of un-controlled urbanization.
Urbanization (also spelled urbanisation) is the physical growth of rural or natural land into urban
areas as a result of population im-migration to an existing urban area. Effects include change in
density and administration services. While the exact definition and population size of urbanized
areas variesamongdifferentcountries,urbanizationisattributedtogrowthof cities. Urbanization is
also defined by the United Nations as movement of people from rural to urban areas with
populationgrowthequatingtourbanmigration.The UN projects half the world population will live
in urban areas at the end of 2008. Source [193]
]
It is necessary learn the lessons from the other nations, that even developed nations face the
problems of urbanisation in the change in the population density in the urban area and the
administrative services with very good economy in the hand. We also see the problems of
urbanisationinmayof our citiesandif it growsto the severe extentandwithconstaintsineconomy,
then the situation become worst and unmanageable.
16.9. F&F – Future MV, will not have high density houses
compromising the infrastructures.
[Urbanization: Causes;
The City of Chicago,Illinois isanexample of the earlyAmericangridsystemof development.The grid
is enforced even on uneven topography.
Urbanization is not always attributed to high density. In Manila, the cost of living has forced
residents to live in low quality slums and shanty towns
Urbanization occurs naturally from individual and corporate efforts to reduce time and expense in
commuting and transportation while improving opportunities for jobs, education, housing, and
transportation. Living in cities permits individuals and families to take advantage of the
opportunities of proximity, diversity, and marketplace competition.
People move intocitiestoseekeconomicopportunities.Inrural areas,oftenonsmall familyfarms,it
isdifficulttoimprove one'sstandardof livingbeyondbasicsustenance.Farm living is dependent on
unpredictable environmental conditions, and in times of drought, flood or pestilence, survival
becomes extremely problematic.
Cities,incontrast,are knownto be placeswhere money,services and wealth are centralised. Cities
are where fortunesare made andwhere social mobilityispossible.Businesses, which generate jobs
and capital, are usually located in urban areas. Whether the source is trade or tourism, it is also
throughthe citiesthatforeignmoneyflowsintoacountry.Itis easy to see why someone living on a
farm might wish to take their chance moving to the city and trying to make enough money to send
back home to their struggling family.
There are better basic services as well as other specialist services that aren't found in rural areas.
There are more job opportunities and a greater variety of jobs. Health is another major factor.
People, especially the elderly are often forced to move to cities where there are doctors and
hospitals that can cater for their health needs. Other factors include a greater variety of
entertainment (restaurants, movie theaters, theme parks, etc) and a better quality of education,
namely universities.
These conditionsare heightenedduringtimesof change froma pre-industrial societytoanindustrial
one.It is at this time that many new commercial enterprises are made possible, thus creating new
jobs in cities. It is also a result of industrialisation that farms become more mechanised, putting
many labourers out of work. Source [193]
]
It is possible to establish the VPA with moderate density (around 60000 population per VPA),
balancingthe problemof urbanisation and cost effective in creating the better infrasturucture and
maintaining the same, MV will have good houses with better income generated through the VPA,
unlike the present urban middle class and lower class people where the cost of living has forced
residents to live in low quality slums and shanty towns
The job opportunitybecomesbetterinVPA,bothforqualifiedandroutine workers,andthe VPA will
work like an industry, with the agriculture as the work in the factory. The education in the VPA
becomes better with the international standards, all the offices becomes closer with the
interbuilding bridges in the MV, housing will be better in the MV, CRS – CRTS makes the
transportation better, opportunities like proximity, diversity, and market place competation will
develop in the VPA shopping complexes better than urban area under one roof.
The income becomes better and better than the urban place when the people work with the VPA,
the standard of livingwill be betterthanthe urbanarea. RCSwill see that all the VPA gets adequate
water for domestic, irrigation and industrial purposes, thus the agriculture growth becomes
predictable, MV will solve all the village / rural related problems.
Education and health care becomes better with NES and NHS. The system of population based
distributionof seatsforprofessionalcourseswill make more opportunityfor the people who stay in
the MV.
Agricuture realtedindustrieswill further enhance the job opportunities for the people who live in
the MV.
16.10. F&F – Future MV will prevent Global warming.
[Urbanization: Environmental effects;
The urban heatislandhasbecome a growingconcern.Thiseffectcausesthe city to become 2 to 10o
F (1 to 6o
C) warmerthansurroundinglandscapes. Impacts also include reducing soil moisture and
intensification of carbon dioxide emissions. Source [193]
]
Decreasedrural to urbanmigration, increased urban to ruaral migration, decreased individual use
of vehicles that are transporting materials in smaller scale, increasing the mass transportation
system, will make the urban environment better with decrease in the raise in temperature. The
development of green belts around the MV will make the environment better in the rural areas.
16.11. F&F – Future MV, will not add strain on infrastructure.
[Urbanization: Changing form of urbanization;
Massive urbanizationin Delhi, India resulted in tremendous strain on the city's infrastructure. The
planned DwarkaSubCity can be seeninforegroundwhile the unplannedandcongestedresidential
areas of West Delhi are visible in the background. Source [193]
]
VPA will give solutions for massive urbanisations, which inturn leads to tremendous strain on the
city’s infrastructure, unplanned and congested residential areas.
16.12. F&F – Future MV, will be the ideal place to live.
[Urbanization: Planning for urbanization;
The construction of new towns by the Housing Development Board of Singapore, is an example of
planned urbanization
Urbanization can be planned urbanization or organic. Planned urbanization, ie: new town or the
gardencity movement,isbasedonanadvance plan, which can be prepared for military, aesthetic,
economic or urban design reasons. Examples can be seen in many ancient cities; although with
explorationcame the collisionof nations,whichmeantthatmanyinvadedcitiestookonthe desired
plannedcharacteristicsof theiroccupiers.Manyancientorganiccitiesexperienced redevelopment
for militaryand economic purposes, new roads carved through the cities, and new parcels of land
were cordonedoff servingvariousplannedpurposesgivingcitiesdistinctive geometric designs. UN
agenciesprefertosee urbaninfrastructure installedbefore urbanizationoccurs. landscape planners
are responsible for landscape infrastructure (public parks, sustainable urban drainage systems,
greenways etc) whichcanbe plannedbefore urbanizationtakesplace,orafterwardtorevitalizedan
area and create greater livability within a region. Concepts of control of the urban expansion are
considered in the American Institute of Planners.
Source [193]
]
MV will be the example of plannedurbanizationornew townorthe gardencity,focussingthe life of
the people for another 500 years, expecting the changes that is going to happen in the next 500
yearskeepingthe urbandesigninmind.Itisnecessarythatthe MV infrastrucute shouldbe installed
before the people occupythe place of MV.Land scape planning like public parks, drainage system,
greenbeltsandotherstructureswill be plannedwell inmass for the entire nation, considering the
differentlandscapes, soil and climatic condition, by the MV – MN creating team in the centre that
worksour reasonable forthe nation.Strucutreslike interbuildingbridgesinMV,whichare notseen
inthe presenturbandevelopments,willmake all the placescloseranddecreasesthe burdenon the
road / trafic.
16.13. F&F – Future MV will not have foot path business.
Source [194]
]
People willnotsitandsell their products like this on the sides of the road, instead all of them will
get the chance to work in the VP shops for prescribed period of time and thus they will get
adequate salary to lead their life.
16.14. F&F – Futere MV – MN – Accidents will decrease to the
maximum.
Source [195]
]
We needtolearnlessonsfromeverywhere;itisnotnice to experience the same always. When we
are creatingthe CRS-CRTSsystemwe needto adopt all the safety measures to prevent such things
and adopting safety measure becomes easy and accurate with the establishment of CRS-CRTS.
16.15. F&F – Future MV – buildings (Blocks) will be supported by
inter buiding bridges.
Source: News paper.]
In MV we will be constructing the Inter building bridges which not only make the people to reach
their place of work in short time by walk; it also prevents the people using the vehicle. Another
important advantage of the inter building bridge is it gives good support to all the buildings and
converts all the buildings in to a single unit and prevents the collapse of the building.

  • 2. Chapter 16: Facts and figures on Urbanisation. 16.1. F&F – Shower – trees uprooted - traffic disrupted. Source: News paper. Source [192] ]Quite often we see and read news like this. And this type of damage can happen not only to the vehicles but can take the life of the individuals. Whenwe are planningforthe CRS – CRTS we can planinsuch waythat evenif the tree fall it should not fall on the parked or moving vehicle. If we are implanting some trees on the sides of the road we can estimate the total lengththatthe treesgrowsand thuswe can choose the suitable place for itsimplantation.We canconcentrate more on the thin (open) forest area to implant the trees that we needforour future than implanting the plants the sides of the road. Even if we are implanting the plantson the sidesof the road we can implant plants like fruit plants like which is not going to grow long and it is strong, and the people moving in the road can take rest eat some fruit and can proceed.
  • 3. 16.2. F&F – Knowledge banking. Source: News paper.] We see adslike this,withthe establishmentof MV and NES – VPS/C (National education services – village panchayat school / college) we establish such centres in every VP to help and guide our young generation. 16.3. F&F – Future MV, may be like this. This is one MV. This is another MV.]
  • 4. This is another MV. Picture Source: News paper.] Create palaces for all the people, not only for one person so called the β€˜king’. Make the people to work and convert their work in to palace, which is possible only by co operation and coordination through VPA. 16.4. F&F – Future MV, will have things, which favour positive health. [Club house and swimming pool. Sports complexes. Source: News paper.] Make the people tolove the life,leteveryone enjoythe life asmuchas possible.Create the worldin such a way that no one feels mental pain for anything.
  • 5. 16.5. F&F – Future MV, will be secure. Source: News paper.] Let us create a very secure place for all of us in the model village that we are going to create in every aspect like electricity, gas pipeline, building and so on in a scientific way. 16.6. F&F – Future MV, less chances of getting accidents. Source: News paper.] It is possible to make things in such a way that, this type of news should never come back with creation of MV with science. 16.7. F&F – Future MV, will not be created at the flood prone areas. [Floods.
  • 6. Floods. Source: News paper.] All the waterwhichgenerate duringthe time of floodwill be effectivelydivertedto the areas which requiresthe waterforirrigation at the higher level through RCS. So the incidence of the flood will decrease to the maximum level. The model villages are constructed at a very safe area so floods making the people homeless will not arise. 16.8. F&F – Future MV will not have the problems realted to present Urbanisaton. [Urbanization: The expanding Los Angeles metropolitan area is an early example of un-controlled urbanization. Urbanization (also spelled urbanisation) is the physical growth of rural or natural land into urban areas as a result of population im-migration to an existing urban area. Effects include change in density and administration services. While the exact definition and population size of urbanized areas variesamongdifferentcountries,urbanizationisattributedtogrowthof cities. Urbanization is also defined by the United Nations as movement of people from rural to urban areas with populationgrowthequatingtourbanmigration.The UN projects half the world population will live in urban areas at the end of 2008. Source [193] ]
  • 7. It is necessary learn the lessons from the other nations, that even developed nations face the problems of urbanisation in the change in the population density in the urban area and the administrative services with very good economy in the hand. We also see the problems of urbanisationinmayof our citiesandif it growsto the severe extentandwithconstaintsineconomy, then the situation become worst and unmanageable. 16.9. F&F – Future MV, will not have high density houses compromising the infrastructures. [Urbanization: Causes; The City of Chicago,Illinois isanexample of the earlyAmericangridsystemof development.The grid is enforced even on uneven topography. Urbanization is not always attributed to high density. In Manila, the cost of living has forced residents to live in low quality slums and shanty towns Urbanization occurs naturally from individual and corporate efforts to reduce time and expense in commuting and transportation while improving opportunities for jobs, education, housing, and transportation. Living in cities permits individuals and families to take advantage of the opportunities of proximity, diversity, and marketplace competition. People move intocitiestoseekeconomicopportunities.Inrural areas,oftenonsmall familyfarms,it isdifficulttoimprove one'sstandardof livingbeyondbasicsustenance.Farm living is dependent on unpredictable environmental conditions, and in times of drought, flood or pestilence, survival becomes extremely problematic. Cities,incontrast,are knownto be placeswhere money,services and wealth are centralised. Cities are where fortunesare made andwhere social mobilityispossible.Businesses, which generate jobs and capital, are usually located in urban areas. Whether the source is trade or tourism, it is also throughthe citiesthatforeignmoneyflowsintoacountry.Itis easy to see why someone living on a farm might wish to take their chance moving to the city and trying to make enough money to send back home to their struggling family.
  • 8. There are better basic services as well as other specialist services that aren't found in rural areas. There are more job opportunities and a greater variety of jobs. Health is another major factor. People, especially the elderly are often forced to move to cities where there are doctors and hospitals that can cater for their health needs. Other factors include a greater variety of entertainment (restaurants, movie theaters, theme parks, etc) and a better quality of education, namely universities. These conditionsare heightenedduringtimesof change froma pre-industrial societytoanindustrial one.It is at this time that many new commercial enterprises are made possible, thus creating new jobs in cities. It is also a result of industrialisation that farms become more mechanised, putting many labourers out of work. Source [193] ] It is possible to establish the VPA with moderate density (around 60000 population per VPA), balancingthe problemof urbanisation and cost effective in creating the better infrasturucture and maintaining the same, MV will have good houses with better income generated through the VPA, unlike the present urban middle class and lower class people where the cost of living has forced residents to live in low quality slums and shanty towns The job opportunitybecomesbetterinVPA,bothforqualifiedandroutine workers,andthe VPA will work like an industry, with the agriculture as the work in the factory. The education in the VPA becomes better with the international standards, all the offices becomes closer with the interbuilding bridges in the MV, housing will be better in the MV, CRS – CRTS makes the transportation better, opportunities like proximity, diversity, and market place competation will develop in the VPA shopping complexes better than urban area under one roof. The income becomes better and better than the urban place when the people work with the VPA, the standard of livingwill be betterthanthe urbanarea. RCSwill see that all the VPA gets adequate water for domestic, irrigation and industrial purposes, thus the agriculture growth becomes predictable, MV will solve all the village / rural related problems. Education and health care becomes better with NES and NHS. The system of population based distributionof seatsforprofessionalcourseswill make more opportunityfor the people who stay in the MV. Agricuture realtedindustrieswill further enhance the job opportunities for the people who live in the MV. 16.10. F&F – Future MV will prevent Global warming. [Urbanization: Environmental effects; The urban heatislandhasbecome a growingconcern.Thiseffectcausesthe city to become 2 to 10o F (1 to 6o C) warmerthansurroundinglandscapes. Impacts also include reducing soil moisture and intensification of carbon dioxide emissions. Source [193] ] Decreasedrural to urbanmigration, increased urban to ruaral migration, decreased individual use of vehicles that are transporting materials in smaller scale, increasing the mass transportation system, will make the urban environment better with decrease in the raise in temperature. The development of green belts around the MV will make the environment better in the rural areas.
  • 9. 16.11. F&F – Future MV, will not add strain on infrastructure. [Urbanization: Changing form of urbanization; Massive urbanizationin Delhi, India resulted in tremendous strain on the city's infrastructure. The planned DwarkaSubCity can be seeninforegroundwhile the unplannedandcongestedresidential areas of West Delhi are visible in the background. Source [193] ] VPA will give solutions for massive urbanisations, which inturn leads to tremendous strain on the city’s infrastructure, unplanned and congested residential areas. 16.12. F&F – Future MV, will be the ideal place to live. [Urbanization: Planning for urbanization; The construction of new towns by the Housing Development Board of Singapore, is an example of planned urbanization
  • 10. Urbanization can be planned urbanization or organic. Planned urbanization, ie: new town or the gardencity movement,isbasedonanadvance plan, which can be prepared for military, aesthetic, economic or urban design reasons. Examples can be seen in many ancient cities; although with explorationcame the collisionof nations,whichmeantthatmanyinvadedcitiestookonthe desired plannedcharacteristicsof theiroccupiers.Manyancientorganiccitiesexperienced redevelopment for militaryand economic purposes, new roads carved through the cities, and new parcels of land were cordonedoff servingvariousplannedpurposesgivingcitiesdistinctive geometric designs. UN agenciesprefertosee urbaninfrastructure installedbefore urbanizationoccurs. landscape planners are responsible for landscape infrastructure (public parks, sustainable urban drainage systems, greenways etc) whichcanbe plannedbefore urbanizationtakesplace,orafterwardtorevitalizedan area and create greater livability within a region. Concepts of control of the urban expansion are considered in the American Institute of Planners. Source [193] ] MV will be the example of plannedurbanizationornew townorthe gardencity,focussingthe life of the people for another 500 years, expecting the changes that is going to happen in the next 500 yearskeepingthe urbandesigninmind.Itisnecessarythatthe MV infrastrucute shouldbe installed before the people occupythe place of MV.Land scape planning like public parks, drainage system, greenbeltsandotherstructureswill be plannedwell inmass for the entire nation, considering the differentlandscapes, soil and climatic condition, by the MV – MN creating team in the centre that worksour reasonable forthe nation.Strucutreslike interbuildingbridgesinMV,whichare notseen inthe presenturbandevelopments,willmake all the placescloseranddecreasesthe burdenon the road / trafic. 16.13. F&F – Future MV will not have foot path business. Source [194] ]
  • 11. People willnotsitandsell their products like this on the sides of the road, instead all of them will get the chance to work in the VP shops for prescribed period of time and thus they will get adequate salary to lead their life. 16.14. F&F – Futere MV – MN – Accidents will decrease to the maximum. Source [195] ] We needtolearnlessonsfromeverywhere;itisnotnice to experience the same always. When we are creatingthe CRS-CRTSsystemwe needto adopt all the safety measures to prevent such things and adopting safety measure becomes easy and accurate with the establishment of CRS-CRTS.
  • 12. 16.15. F&F – Future MV – buildings (Blocks) will be supported by inter buiding bridges. Source: News paper.] In MV we will be constructing the Inter building bridges which not only make the people to reach their place of work in short time by walk; it also prevents the people using the vehicle. Another important advantage of the inter building bridge is it gives good support to all the buildings and converts all the buildings in to a single unit and prevents the collapse of the building.
