by Time Inc. UK and is based on the pop
genre. The house style is consistent, the
masthead is almost always in a large, bold
font on the top of the page or most
commonly in the top left. This makes the title
stand out from the rest of the information as
the cover of NME is usually busy and informal,
this appeals to the target audience as the
informal mode of address makes the audience
relate to the magazine. The cover usually
includes a picture of a current musician
attracting the attention of the target audience
which is mainly men ages 17-30.
