Nifty Intraday
Today, We may witness positive opening in Nifty around 8790 level on
back of SGX Nifty and other Asian counters which is trading on positive
note today.
Indian benchmark indices ended the range bound day of trade on a
flat note with positive bias as investors preferred to stay on the
sidelines ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI’s) policy meeting
next week. Sentiments got some support with the American
industry bodies lauding the Budget, saying Finance Minister Arun
Jaitley has done an 'admirable job' in creating a vision that will
propel the domestic economy while remaining cognizant about
foreign investors eying the Indian market. However, investors
remained cautious with the report that India’s services languished,
with new business orders falling for the third straight month, amid
muted inflationary pressure that could offer RBI much room to
remain accommodative in its next policy meet next week.
The Nikkei India Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), which
tracks services sector companies on a monthly basis, came in at
48.7 in January, from 46.8 in December 2016.
FIIs were net sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 274.94 crore
and net sellers of index options worth Rs 1321.31 crore. In the stock
segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 58.83 crore,
while they bought stock options worth Rs 94.61 crore.

Nifty Outlook
Bank Nifty Outlook
 In prior 3 instances we have seen that after brief pause Nifty moved to higher level and formed
continuation pattern.
 From candlestick perspective Nifty has formed back to back Doji candle and closed above 8700 level
which is positive development.
 Momentum oscillator RSI is sustaining in over bought zone and volumes are also alleviated level.
 Going forward further upside resistance can be at 8900 level and on lower side support lies at 8680
level.
 Nifty bank has showed strong performance as PSU banks again garnered buying interest from their
lows.
 Correction has retraced in less time which shows its strength of recently on going up move.
 Index is sailing above its short to long term moving average which shows positivity across all the time
frame.
 Going forward resistance for Bank Nifty will be at 20600 in positional perspective level and support at
19900 level.
