Nifty Intraday
Today, We may witness mild positive opening in Nifty around 8415 level
on back of SGX Nifty and other Asian counters which is trading on
positive note today.
Nifty ended the session slightly bullish on Monday, shrugging off
weak trend in global stocks as trading sentiments improved with
report that exports jumped for the fourth month to 5.7 per cent in
December to $23.8 billion, the highest since March 2015. As many
as 18 of the 30 exporting sectors registered growth.
Some support came with Moody’s Investors Service and its Indian
affiliate ICRA report that India will remain one of the fastest growing
major economies globally in 2017, although GDP growth will
moderate in the first half of the year, as the economy adjusts after
demonetization. Moody’s also believes that the government will
likely achieve its fiscal deficit target of 3.5% of GDP for the current
fiscal year ending March 31, 2017. However, investors remained
cautious with the currency exchange, the upcoming Union Budget,
General Anti-Avoidance Rule (GAAR), impending state elections, and
flux in US policy.
Traders were seen piling up positions in PSU, Realty and Metal
stocks, while selling was witnessed in IT, FMCG and Pharma stocks.

Nifty Outlook
Bank Nifty Outlook
In previous two days we have seen that despite of lackluster move, Nifty tend to give upside jerk in
last hour.
Another observation is Nifty has faced resistance at its 100 DMA which is also coinciding with its
previous gap down area but kept on taking support at 8370 level.
From candlestick perspective Nifty has formed mild bullish candle but does not have any predictive
value.
Going forward, Nifty likely to face resistance at 8460 to 8480 band and on downside support lies at
8350 level.
BankNifty resumed its positive move after 2 day’s stall movement and gave close above 19000 level
which is positive development.
From candle stick perspective Index has formed bull candle after indecisiveness which shows
continuation in trend.
Nifty Bank has approached its 50% retracement level which is potential resistance ratio from Fibonacci
perspective.
Going forward sustainability above 19000 can can lead to further improvement upto 19250 level.
