Nifty Intraday
Today, We may witness strong positive opening in Nifty around
9180 level on back of SGX Nifty and other Asian counters which is
trading on positive note today.
The market is likely to see a gap-up opening this morning as
investors cheer the ruling BJP’s clean sweep in the Uttar Pradesh
assembly elections, along with victories in three other states that
went to polls. The Bharatiya Janata Party won state elections in
four out of five states that went to polls. The results showed that
the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was still intact
which is positive cue for the market, which would help in getting
political capital going forward. In UP, the party won its biggest
margin in 37 years with a three-fourth majority.
As one event will factor in today and next event which Traders will
focus on Federal Reserve’s meet on whether to raise interest rates.
They will look for clues on how quickly the US central bank is
planning to tighten monetary policy. They will look ahead to the
Fed's two-day meeting that starts on Tuesday. Traders saw a 94
percent chance that the US central bank will lift interest rates by
25 basis points on Wednesday.
Traders were seen piling up positions in Auto, IT and Media stocks,
while selling was witnessed in Metal, Pharma and PSU stocks.

Nifty Outlook
Bank Nifty Outlook
Initiating with a gap up Nifty consolidating during the first half of the session and during later half its
volatility expanded.
Nifty formed bearish candle which shows momentum is still compressed in range.
Nifty ended on a slight bearish note at 8934 level and on daily chart Nifty still lays in consolidation
which is continuing from past 12 trading session.
Further, positive posture can be examined and upside momentum can be seen upto 9200 and on
downside support can be seen upto 9000 level.
Index opening with a gap-up and consolidated during the first half of the session and during later half its
volatility expanded.
Bank Nifty formed bearish candle which shows momentum is still compressed in range.
Bank Nifty is still examined to be stuck in a range bound from past 15 days.
Further, positive posture can be examined and upside momentum can be seen upto 21200 and on
downside support can be seen upto 20400 levels.
