Nifty Intraday
Today, We may witness mild positive opening in Nifty around 8738 level
on back of SGX Nifty and other Asian counters which is trading on
positive note today.
During the last trading session Nifty extended its gains for the
second consecutive day and ended a choppy session slightly higher
on Thursday amid buying in selected blue chip counters. Sentiments
got support from a private report indicating that India is expected to
clock a GDP growth of 7.1 percent in 2017-18, up from 6.3 percent
in 2016-17, as the country gets sufficiently remonetized and the
schemes in the Budget play a supportive role. The uptick in the
growth numbers would be largely driven by the demonetization
process which is expected by April end, as this in turn would boost
the consumption levels in the country. Traders took encouragement
with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s statement that slowdown in
economic activity on account of demonetization was only
temporary and its effect would not spill over to the next financial
year. He also said that the move has a strong potential to generate
long term benefits in terms of reduced corruption, greater
digitization of economy, increased flow of financial savings and
greater formalization of economy. However, gains were capped on
the back of negative global cues and weak automobile sales results.
Investors’ sentiments remained cautious ahead of Reserve Bank of
India’s February 8 policy statement, as well as the results of the
Bank of England’s policy meeting later in the day.
Traders were seen piling up positions in Pharma, IT and PSU stocks,
while selling was witnessed only in Auto stocks.

Nifty Outlook
Bank Nifty Outlook
 In prior 3 instances we have seen that after brief pause Nifty moved to higher level and formed
continuation pattern.
 From candlestick perspective Nifty has formed Doji candle and closed above 8700 level which is
positive development.
 Momentum oscillator RSI is sustaining in over bought zone and volumes are also alleviated level.
 Going forward further upside resistance can be at 8900 level and on lower side support lies at 8600
level.
 Nifty bank has again reclaimed its 20,000 mark since after November month.
 Correction has retraced in less time which shows its strength of recently on going up move.
 Index is sailing above its short to long term moving average which shows positivity across all the time
frame.
 Going forward resistance for Bank Nifty will be at 20600 in positional perspective level and support at
19700 level.
