Nifty Intraday
Today, We may witness mild positive opening in Nifty around 8400 level
on back of SGX Nifty and other Asian counters which is trading on
positive note today.
Nifty extended gains for second consecutive session and ended with
a gain of 92.05 points closer to 8400 level, following sustained
buying by participants amid encouraging start of the corporate
earnings season.
Traders were encouraged from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s
statement that India is on threshold of becoming most digitized
economy in the world. While he also declared his ambition to bring
about a paradigm shift through a series of historic changes,
reiterating the government's commitment to reforms and projecting
India as a bright spot amid global gloom after having emerged as the
world's fastest-growing economy. Some support also came from
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s statement that the Centre is still
aiming to roll out the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime from
April 1. He further said while most of the issues have been resolved,
there are a few critical issues that still need to be addressed.
Traders were seen piling up positions in Metal, PSU and Media
stocks, while selling was witnessed only in IT stocks.

 Index has crossed its round figure psychological level of 8300 mark with gap up area which has
formed positive sentiment.
 Index has formed strong bullish candle, since opening there was upside journey without any
meaningful set back. It shows bulls were in dominating position.
 Momentum oscillator RSI is still intact in its northward trajectory. Sustainability above 60 level has
erased bearish bias.
 Going forward, further movement can be expected upto 8450 level with stop loss of 8320 level.
 After 2 to 3 day lack luster move Nifty Bank has emerged with full strength and opened on gap up note
and closed near to day high.
 Nifty bank has crossed its 18700 level which were its previous high points and now it is approaching to
its 50% retracement level of 18930.
 Momentum oscillator RSI is still intact in its northward trajectory. Sustainability above 60 level has
erased bearish bias.
 Going forward, further positive momentum can be expected upto 19000 level.
