Design
Organisations are often asked to make a presentation to win funding in only 20
minutes. An effective presentation will focus on what the funder wants, rather than
what you can give them. It will demonstrate why you should be chosen rather than
your competitor. A few key messages will be embedded throughout the presentation.
The course is designed to ensure that delegates improve their ability in the minimum
time. The target group are those people who already have some confidence in a one
to one situation.
Our approach is that if delegates understand how to improve communication and can
prepare and design a course/pitch then they will deliver a more persuasive and
forceful presentation. Their confidence will increase and this will be reflected in the
flow of the presentation and the impact they will make.
The course includes practical sessions, all delegates should be willing to present in
from of others.
Who will benefit?
Any member of staff that has to make a pitch or presentation to a funder
