The role of team work in an organization is very
critical. Good organizational performance can be
attributed to the quality and nature of the team and
the interaction amongst team members.
Team cohesion, synergy and a shared vision are a requirement for any institution to succeed. As
a result the need to instill such is important. Team building training has been identified as one
way of enhancing effectiveness of a team.

i. Inculcate a sense of Strategic thinking in the delegates
ii. Challenge the existing mental models especially those that may be counter to producing
desired results
iii. Build team cohesion by breaking barriers in interpersonal relationships
iv. Improve interpersonal communication and enhance negotiation skills
v. Enhance self-discipline & appreciation of the role of leadership by building mutual trust
and confidence
TEAM BUILDING OUTPUTS
By the end of our training program the following outcomes are expected:
 All the participants will have understood what brings and drives team spirit and what
breaks team spirit and how to avoid it
 Participants will develop an understanding of the role of people in teamwork, and their
contribution to the organization’s Vision
 Participants will embrace teamwork and will develop a more cohesive team
 They will have examined the characteristics of effective teams and clarify the key points
that make for effective team players.
 Team members will develop trust in each other, communicate openly and support one
another.
TEAM BUILDING METHODOLOGY AND APPROACH
Our team building trainers shall integrate exercises, both mental and physical followed by a
debriefing of lessons learnt reflecting on the objectives of the team building exercise

i. Teambuilding principles.
ii. Critical success factor for effectively performing teams,
iii. Having a shared vision and team direction of purpose,
iv. Roles and responsibility of team members,

4.MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
This program is designed to provide the young people with up to date life skills, academic
excellence and career choice training.
The program creates a network of Mentees to interact with Mentors.
Through this program we anticipate change of old ideas and practices among the Youth to
direct their knowledge and energy towards productive activities.
We pair the young people (mentees) with mentors and their relationship strengthened through
a series of planned activities between the two to increase confidence, trust and self-drive.
The types of mentoring to be used include:
 Group mentoring – where one mentor will mentor a group of young people
 Team mentoring – where several mentors will mentor a group of young people.
 Peer mentoring – where caring and experienced young people will mentor other young
people
 E-mentoring – through social media and mobile phones (technology has made
communication easier and this will make e-mentoring more effective)

The program creates a network of Mentees to interact with Mentors. Through this program we anticipate change of old ideas and practices among the Youth to direct their knowledge and energy towards productive activities. We pair the young people (mentees) with mentors and their relationship strengthened through a series of planned activities between the two to increase confidence, trust and self-drive. The types of mentoring to be used include:  Group mentoring – where one mentor will mentor a group of young people  Team mentoring – where several mentors will mentor a group of young people.  Peer mentoring – where caring and experienced young people will mentor other young people  E-mentoring – through social media and mobile phones (technology has made communication easier and this will make e-mentoring more effective)
