02/84 – 05/86 Recruited by TECNICONTROL S.r.l. of Savona, as a technician in
charge of internal Quality Control Dept. for preparation of N.D.T.
technical specifications, and perform inspection of Pressure Vessels
and naval welding & construction.
06/86 – 09/87 Recruited by C.P.M. of Genova / Voltri, as inspector (welding &
assembly) of Pressure Vessels and resident quality assistant at naval
yards and pipelines
10/87- 01/88 Recruited as external consultant by the company SIGE S.r.l. of
Genoa / Bolzaneto, as resident inspector at naval yards
02/88 – 03/89 Recruited as external consultant by the company MOODY
TOTTRUP S.r.l. of Genoa, as quality assistant for review and
acceptance of the Q.C. certification relevant to the construction of the
Off-Shore Drilling Rig SAIPEM “SCARABEO 5” manufactured by
FINACANTIERI yard of Genoa / Sestri Ponente.
At the same time I’ve also performed inspections at source on the
quality of manufactured goods to be installed on the construction
above.
04/89 – 12/89 Recruited by the company FINCANTIERI S.p.A. (Merchant Ship
Division) yard of Genoa / Sestri Ponente, as technical employee in
the Qualty Assurance Team specifically formed for “SCARABEO
5” Project, with also tasks for Exp./Insp. at source of manufactured
goods to be installed on the construction above.
01/90 – 09/90 Transferred to the Central Technical Office FINCANTIERI in
Trieste and involved in the definition and drawing-up of the technical
specifications for working processing and production (welding &
assembly) relevant to the construction of the Off-shore Drilling Rig
“SANA”.
10/90 – 12/90 Returned to Genoa yard assigned to the Quality Assurance Dept. to
develop the new operating procedures for internal testings to apply
during the construction of SANA drilling Rig.
01/91 – 4/02 Recruited by FOSTER WHEELER ITALIANA S.p.A. of Corsico
(MI), as Project Exp. / Insp. Co-ordinator.
Since Mid ’93 to the entire ’94 appointed as deputy manager for the
co-ordination of activities (Procurement area) aimed to obtain ISO
9001 certification.
Since the beginning of ’98 assigned to cover a new corporate position
as “PROJECT MATERIAL MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR” to
unify in one person the follow-up of all Procurement activities
(supplier qualification, purchasing, expediting, inspection and
shipping) relevant to a single project
This position directly refers to the Project Manager or Director and
the final Client to define the actions needed to keep the fixed
operative objectives.

This position is placed at the same level of the Procurement Co-
ordinator and directly refers to the Project Manager or Director to
define the actions needed to keep the fixed operative objectives; the
final Client is normally involved for information only.
Following a reassessment of internal skills, and to reach an
optimization of the external activities, the original position was
modified in Testing Group Leader, changing the scope of work from
a material management focused on a singular project to a global
involvement on the management of all material purchased for all
active projects divided by category (Machinery – Pressure Vessel –
Piping – Electrical & Instrumentation).
06/06 – today Recruited by SIIRTEC NIGI S.p.A. of Milano, as Material
Management Coordinator and later on appointed as Manager of
Exp/Insp. Dept. for all projects in charge of Process Plant and
Package Division.
This position is directly linked to the director of the Project
Execution and it is fully integrated in the company general system of
Procurement & Material management with the main scope to
guarantee a constant monitoring of the procurement activities against
the job schedule and field erection program
