Abstract:
I am a very experienced and skilled engineering professional and former owner of an engineering consultancy
business (ILB Projects Ltd.).
I previously held positions as Technical Coordinator, Installation Manager, QA and Procurement Engineer with many
years of experience;
I have worked on international projects such as Engineering in the aircraft and armament industry, also as a
Procurement Manager with UKAEA and most recently as Assembly Engineer of a fusion vessel for ITER, an
International Organization in R&D of nuclear fusion.
I recently relocated to The Hague and after a sabbatical for family reasons now wish to resume my career
on any working hour basis that suits the employee.
I have owned a small limited company and understand the requirements of various fields of work with
hands-on experience.

POSITION :- FIELD TEAM / ASSEMBLY Technical Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Created the “Call for Expression” for the Assembly of the ITER Vessel and wrote the draft procedure; conducted /
reviewed R&D work for Narrow Gap assembly.
Preparation of procedures for monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and correct quality. Assisted in the
implementation of the Quality Assurance program.
Wrote and reviewed Manufacturing Inspection Plans (MIPS).
Review of Engineering activities including review of manufacturing processes.
Managing the Framework Contracts (overseeing external contractors/ monitoring 15 designers for CAD work and
15 Engineers linked to an Engineering Framework).
Access Quality Plans and Health and Safety.
Managed the R&D procurement and conducted vendor assessments for procurement.
Assisting in the preparation of design concepts.
Drafting technical specifications, assisting in the tender cycle, contract management.
Familiar with RCC-MR, French Nuclear Regulatory Approach.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES Procurement Engineer:
Monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and correct quality. Assisted in the implementation of the Quality
Assurance program.
Writing technical specifications, placing and monitoring of execution of contracts, ensuring both QA and safety
requirements are met.
Conducted witnessing inspections.
Specifying and carrying out trials and tests on specific components before installation.
Management of procurement of high quality and complex components. Assessment of quality of components.
Negotiations concerning cost and price reductions in contracts with subcontractors. Liaising with the customer,
design office and other stakeholders to produce suitable design solutions.
Tendering:
Contributed to tenders for large-scale procurements, member of the evaluation boards in many tenders, writing
of draft reports for the European Commission on tendering activities.
Procurement and management activities related to casting and machining contracts for the JET ITER Like Wall
(role of Contract Procurement Manager), Error Field Correction Coils, Poloidal Limiters.
Installation Management:
Specifying and carrying out specific training and supervision of teams to install components
Supporting shut-down manager in the management of the installation.
Management of team of personnel to install inside and outside the nuclear vessel.
Supervising teams for cleaning and assembling of JET equipment within the buildings.
Co-ordination of on-site logistics for arriving items.
Nuclear Engineering:
Acting as an advisor on Waste Management issues/ Nuclear Waste Management Officer.
Management of manufacturing of components and commissioning of auxiliary equipment.
General Engineering:
Drafting work procedures, safety assessments and work permits.
