2. Near Misses Report
Work Responsibilities on various projects:
1. Responsible for implementing and administering all aspects of accident, prevention, fire
protection and control, motor fleet accident prevention and the control of equipment and
property damage.
2. Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and
preventive actions.
3. Conduct supervisory safety meetings; participate in weekly planning and scheduling of
meetings.
4. Conduct daily inspections in the work area to ensure the health of the worker’s and the
protection of the environment are properly taken care of
5. Prepare job safety bulletins and subjects for toolbox meetings. Review and monitor such
meeting to ensure effectiveness.
6. Conduct daily safety orientations classes for newly hired employees/workers.
7. Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure compliance with client/government
safety standards and regulations. Identify safety defects and initiate corrective measures by
responsible supervision.
8. Prepare injury reports, maintain required record keeping system and provide adequate
documentation on occupational activities.
9. Keep up to date with recommended codes of practice and safety literature and circulate
information applicable to each level of employees.

PROJECT HSE MANAGER
01/2010 – 10/2010: New Doha International Airport – Airside/Landside Roadways &
Parking
The project comprises the design and construction of the roadways network
connecting the “Airside” and “Landside” facilities of the New Doha
International Airport, providing access to the Terminal, Commercial and
Midfield areas of the airport. The scope includes three grade separated
interchanges and a total of 19 box-girder bridge structures, five of which
crossing shallow lagoon water leading to the Passenger and Emiri
Terminals. In addition, the scope of works includes parking lots, airport
security fencing, intrusion detection systems, surface water drainage
systems, street lighting systems, and culvert protection to existing gas lines.
10/2009 – 1/2010: Education City Convention Centre Extension
The works comprise of completion of the Education City Convention Centre
Extension. This fast track project will be completed in 18 months and is the
first major LEED project in Qatar.
11/2008 – 10/2009: PROJECT HSE MANAGER
Passenger Terminal Concourse ‘C’ Foundations
The works comprise the construction of the foundations for Concourse ‘C’
and North Node of the Passenger Terminal at the New Doha International
Airport. The scope covers:
a) Geotechnical Site Investigation works
b) Design and installation of reinforced concrete bored piles (800 and
1000 mm diameter, 21 meters in length)
c) Reinforced concrete foundations for the Terminal Building and
Passenger Loading Bridges mainly comprising pile-caps, tie beams
perimeter walls and sundry foundations.

Construction of three storey building for the School of Foreign Service
(Georgetown University) as a part of Education City project developed by
Qatar Foundation.

technology systems and external landscaping.

CULTURAL VILLAGE PROJECT PHASE II
The site is located at the West Bay Area, Doha, Qatar. The works comprise the takeover and
completion of works relating to the Cultural Village – Phase II project. The scope includes all structural,
architectural, and electromechanical elements, including extensive landscaping and stone cladding to
the Amphitheatre building.
