SCOPE OF WORK
 Thorough understanding of work scope, work load and project specification.
 Allocate work and specify responsibilities for accountability of assigned task and evaluation of
performance.
 Follows plans and strategize for work plan based on the overall project execution plan and
strategy.
 Monitor overall work schedule and resource mobilization plan based on work front (drawing
and material release) plan in association with project control.
 Implement three week look ahead schedule with inputs from Project Control Department and
draw up final weekly execution plan
 Review work front, progress and resource deployment against plan on weekly basis with
Subcontractors for timely completion of work against schedule. Identify potential threats to
safety, quality and progress of work; recommend mitigating measures to site management
and follow up for action.
 Monitors progress of pre-fabrication and erection works and reports to Construction
Manager on a daily basis.
 Coordinate with Superintendents of other disciplines at the project site and Construction
Manager to review work interfaces at field to minimize hold on work
 Preparation/implementation of Method Statement, Job hazard analysis, risk assessment and
mitigation plan in consultation with HSSE team for key activities
 Frequently assess Subcontractors’ work performance and quality standards to meet the
project specification and arrange technical workshop for supervisors and Tool-Box talk for
workmen for competency development
 Supervise and guide Subcontractor’s Supervisors for timely and accurate work execution.
Ensure that all the work activities are completed as per the quality norms and as per project
specifications.
 Supervise preparation and pre-fabrication erection works on site.
 Checks that Subcontractors pre-fabrication and erection equipment are satisfactory operating
and adequate for the job to be carried out.
 Daily coordinates with QC Inspectors.
 Monitors the preparation of the pre-commissioning operation in close coordination with QC
Inspectors and Construction Superintenden.
 Ensures that materials are stored and maintained in adequate conditions. Monitors the
management of materials and spare parts.
 Supervises pre-commissioning activities.
 Ensures that all subsystem/system is thoroughly check before and signed off prior to
commencement and that safety perimeters are establish in the vicinity of testing.
 Ensures routine good housekeeping is performed on site by Contractor.

 Monitor and appraise construction work in the specific discipline.

 Interpret SSPC drawing and specifications and advise fabricators on compliance.

 Schedule, plan and direct the work of others supervisors , inspector, technician, vendor
representative and other personnel. Be responsible for checking subordinates work methods,

 Implements safe working practice and procedures to ensure that safe working conditions are
always maintained through work crew practising safe work methods.
 Report of work progress, current and near term plans, accident, near miss, and any order
significant events and incidents to immediate superior.

Be responsible for checking subordinates work methods, out put punctuality and job progress.  Implements safe working practice and procedures to ensure that safe working conditions are always maintained through work crew practising safe work methods.  Report of work progress, current and near term plans, accident, near miss, and any order significant events and incidents to immediate superior.  Develop list incomplete works and punch list items and monitor program until completion.  The Personnel is responsible for ensuring that all static equipment technical integrity, readiness of all resources such as materials, procedures.
