Introductions
Information and communication technologies are becoming ubiquitous components of the natural
and social world occupied by young children. This is an important part of the private life and work
life of most people, including those who support early childhood learning and development, whether
as parents, family members, caregivers or early childhood educators. The paper focuses on the
suggestion on using ICT to support learning and teaching process in teaching children technology.
In the following, the paper will be justified on the rationale of using ICT for supporting young
children's learning experience, and give examples to explain the opinion. Finally, there is a
reflection on the role and potentials of using ICT in Early Childhood Education.
Suggestions
ICT is a very convenient teaching tool. For example, teacher uses the computer to play the video
for children. It is vivider than pictures. And teacher uses the digital camera and it is easy to record
and observe every child. ICT can improve student learning and improve teaching methods. There
has been an increase in student access to educational information and communication technologies,
especially in the area of "knowledge, understanding and practical skills", and in mathematics and
science. Through ICT, images can be easily used for teaching and improving students' memory,
teachers can easily explain complex guidelines and ensure students' understanding and create
interactive classes that make the lessons happier, increasing student attendance and attention
(Elmoglobalcom 2017). Moreover, for teachers, ICT is exploring the educational possibilities of

technology, learn how to choose the right hardware, software and ICT interaction, become a key
user of ICT. For students, ICT is creativity and problem solving (Ictcurriculumgovin 2017). The
ICT has benefit very much. I suggest teachers to use different hardwares and softwares to teach
children. For example, computer, projecter, touch screens, interactive whiteboards. However,
every thing has good and bad. ICT, the drill and practice software should be used with caution as
they encourage very instructive teaching forms that use external rewards. Over-reliance on these
software may reduce the child's intrinsic motivation to learn. ICT is a tool for recording,
communication, constructing, observing and discovering. Therefore, appropriate use the ICT, is for
sure to enhance children learning interest.
Justification
There are at least three reasons why ICTs are in early childhood education. First, ICT has affected
the study of population and environment around young children. For example, in our scoiaty every
one or everywhere at least has one ICT tools, techniques and equipment, mobile phone, ipod, cash
machine. Second, these technologies provide new opportunities for childhood education practices
that enhance many aspects of the early stages. Third, there is support and interest for the entire
education sector in the development and integration of ICTs in education policies, curricula and
practices. Early introduction and use of information and communication technology for childhood
education should be based on a clear understanding of purpose, practice and understanding Social
Context of Early Childhood Education (Govtnz 2017). Moreover, the use of ICTs has increased the

independence, inclusiveness and equal opportunities of children with special educational needs
There is an activity, the activity asks children to take photos with family about the nature. The photo
can be flower, animals or another about natural things. In this activity, children can touch the digital
camera to take photo. Moreover, the activity need to children with their family. It makes children
foster interest of take photo and enhance with family relationship. In addition, children can take
photo after, they can share with other children. Though the ICT, they can take photo, foster their
interest and enhance their society ability. On the other hand, this is the second activity, the activity's
aim hopes children, though the technology, design a picture about my school. Teacher teaches
them to use the app, Tux Paint. This app is about draw. Children can though the other methods
to design their picture. Design or drawing can use other methods to show. This is not a traditional
use of the paper to draw. ICT can give a novel fashion for teachers and children. Through the
different teaching material for children use, it can stimulate their learning interest.
Reflection on the role and potential of using ICT in Early Childhood Education
ICT brings some benefits to teachers; promotes resource sharing, knowledge and recommendation,
simpler planning and preparation of materials and activities, use of computers in activities to
motivate students to learn, and teachers can communicate online to help with lesson planning. The
benefit of using ICT is that students should be more independent and proactive in learning and self-
learning through better quality education through better teacher-cooperation, planning and
preparation of resources, greater emphasis on teaching and observation of students' strengths and

weaknesses, students will feel more successful in educational technology (Weeblycom 2017). In
contrast, these are ICT potential. However, there are some points to consider. In early childhood
education, attitudes toward information and communication technologies varied widely. Some
people advocate increasing their use based on the hope of obtaining socio-economic benefits. Some
argue that this is totally inappropriate, creating poor educational experiences for young children and
threaten future health and social issues through overuse (Weeblycom 2017). Therefore, in the future,
Early childhood Education is able to use the ICT to teach, and it is a great dispute. After all, ICT is
very convenient but ICT does not give real things for children to learn. Some areas always through
field trips for children to understand.
