Technology plays an important role in modern education in several ways. It allows students to access vast amounts of information online, engage with interactive learning methods, and develop skills needed for future careers. While technology is not a replacement for passionate teachers, it can be used as an effective tool to supplement education and prepare students for an increasingly digital world. 2.  We have been using technology so much these days in each and every domain
of our lives, be it education or the regular household work, that have we ever
taken out a second to wonder if it’s leaving a positive impact on our work or it’s
just that we have been relying too much on it that we’ve become habitual to it,
ignoring the direction of its impact?
 Say for instance, is technology causing education to improve over time or have
we just been catching up with the trend of educational technology.
 Earlier, technology in education was a debatable topic amongst the society.
Everyone had their own views on modernizing education and making it
technology aided. There were a huge number of positives and negatives to
education technology. But, gradually as technology was embraced by the
educational institutes, they realized the importance of technology in
education. Its positives outnumbered the negatives and now, with technology,
education has taken a whole new meaning that it leaves us with no doubt that
our educational system has been transformed owing to the ever-advancing
technology. Technology and education are a great combination if used together
with a right reason and vision.

3.  We live in a dynamic world surrounded by almost endless amounts of
information. Riding the coattails of information is all of the technology we
have at our fingertips. For as prevalent as technology is now, is it replacing real
lasting education? Does technology have a place in our classrooms?
 I think any level-headed educator would agree that children must be able to
use technology to be competitive in the workplace after graduation. With all
the trends and advancements in technology no one can argue that we will go
backwards from here. I don’t foresee technology replacing passionate teachers
educating their students. I simply see it as an important tool to help the
education process and prepare students for the future.
 From the studies I’ve read, teachers want to use more technology in the
classroom. The kids seem to really enjoy it and are excited about using it. Those
interested in embracing technology need to educate themselves on what’s out

have the option to use it to increase their learning capacity and pursue their interests.

or MP3 player; this makes education more modern and multi-faceted. Science and technology
are closely linked and often become intertwined. In schools, new technology can help students
to understand science and make ideas that were previously banished to the pages of books, a
visible or tangible reality. Technology undoubtedly makes the learning process more interactive
and therefore more interesting and memorable. Research has also shown a positive correlation
between computer technology and better results in scientific subjects. Technology in
constantly evolving which means that we are able to understand more; this is also true in
schools where students are able to access the newest technology to explore new concepts and
ideas.

the success of a nation depends on the educational level of its workforce.
 This is true not only for those just entering or already integrated into the labour
market but also for the unemployed, who may lack the qualifications required
by the growing demands of a knowledge economy.
 Governments should work to ensure that all citizens receive the technological
training and experience necessary to participate in the global economy.

8.  Technology assists our children in obtaining all of these skills. More so today than every before
in history, students have the ability to research any topic. They are not bound by classroom or
library walls. Technology has opened doors to a seemingly infinite well of information, which is
not always accurate. Therefore, they need to learn how to sift through it all and get the “good
stuff.” This seemingly infinite well of information and current bank of technology has also
allowed students to truly invest themselves in their education by developing personal
educational plans or studying fields of particular interest to them. When students are actively
engaged in their own learning to reach his or her own ultimate potential, everybody wins. For
example, perhaps a social studies teacher wants their students to do a project about the Roman
Empire. Each student could choose a particular part of the Roman Empire that sparks their
interest such as politics, fashion, or the technology of the time. Assessments could then be
differentiated by allowing students the leeway to choose their product such as a fake blog
where students pretend to be political figures in Rome and discuss politics or a wiki is
developed where students collaboratively design the latest Roman fashion. Local history could
be studied by students gathering oral histories from senior citizens and then creating a podcast
of the project to put on-line and share with the community! The possibilities are endless all
