2. In order to establish a successful campaign, the existing
database will be used to send a personalized email to
our potential donators. Indeed, we want to send a
personalized email to the NGO to make them even
more involved in the homelessness issue. As mentioned
in our previous blog post, a personalized email is very
important to achieve a successful emailing campaign.
Moreover, the adaptability of the email is also very
important in making the NGO credible towards its
clients. That is why we have created a desktop and a
mobile device version of the email.
Dear Mrs and Mr X,
We are honored to invite you for HomelessLink fund
raising event, which is organized to tackle the homeless
issue in UK. The number of homeless people has
increased in the recent years. Therefore, ending
homelessness is our goal by raising awareness about
the issue. A collection of any type of donation will be
held throughout the event. You can now donate here!
Your presence and generosity is much appreciated and
it would be our pleasure to host you. We are looking
forward to welcoming you as your support is essential
in making progress to end homelessness in the UK. As
many organizations will attend this event, it will also be
an opportunity to enhance your network.

4. In regards to the content of the email, the personalization is a key factor of
success in an emailing campaign. Therefore, we have personalized the email
through “Dear Mr. and Mrs X.” Moreover, two links have been placed into the
emailing campaign in order to direct the receiver to the Homeless Link website.
The second one directs the guest to the donation link.
This allows them to have an overview of Homeless Link’s mission and the vision
statement. Then, a “call of action” button has been placed under the text to lead
the receiver to click on it. The first button is “Join the event” which invites the CEO
of the NGO to click on the button which then directs him to a sign up form. This
form allows him/her to fill in information regarding who will be in attendance at
the event. Indeed, in this way, we will be able to constitute a list of NGOs which
will attend the event.
5. The biggest challenge is the amount of clicks that we receive. Some
CEO of the NGO might not open the email. Therefore, we need to use a
personalized way to address the receiver by using an attractive object
to lead him to click and read through the email.
6. At the end of the email, we are inviting the guests who are not
following us on Homeless Link’s social media accounts, to do so. This is
a way to gain new followers which will ultimately spread awareness to
the homelessness issue in the United Kingdom.
