Professional Experience
Hyatt Place Bush Intercontinental, Front Office Supervisor, May 2014 – Present
• Serve as the face of a hotel and Manager on Duty in the evenings.
• Provide guests with a first impression as both greeting new guests and maintaining loyalty from regulars
at the hotel.
• Oversee that guests are welcomed, registered into the hotel's computer system and assigned an appropriate
room for their needs.
• Perform and delegate various tasks, such as making or confirming reservations, verifying and collecting
guests' payments, issuing room keys and contacting housekeeping or maintenance when guests report a
problem.
• In addition to supervising the daily operations of the front desk, I provide the Gallery Hosts with
necessary training and support.
• Assist my hosts in all areas including the restaurant and bar.
• Conduct all interviews for the Gallery Host Position
• Personally respond to Trip Advisor comments about our property on their website, as well as our own
surveys.
• Other responsibilities include tracking and posting appropriate food, liquor or telephone charges to guests'
accounts; completing bookkeeping duties, like balancing accounts and conducting nightly financial audits;
and recording and referring patron comments and complaints to the appropriate hotel manager.
Houston Marriott North, Guest Services, August 2013 – May 2014
• Greeted guests and patrons as they arrived, took reservations via telephone, email, and walk-ins, as well
as operating the hotel switchboard and providing detailed information regarding rates and vacancies.
• Continuously recognized and compensated for delivering outstanding customer service, making myself
the top Agent at Your Service of the property.
• Managed accurate accounting of all rooms and balancing personal cash drawer at end of shift.
Holiday Inn Express, Front Desk September 2009 - August 2013
• Performed bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts, conducting nightly audits, post charges,
such those for rooms, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgers manually or by using computers.
• Verify Guests credit, establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.
