2. Concerts / festivals I would like to think my magazine would be sold at indie bands concerts as I am targeting a very niche market . And you are guaranteed to make sales at these events as you have got the right audience. And I’ve also noticed that Indie fans very often attend festivals and concerts .E.g. Glastonbury so I think lots of sales of the magazine would be made there.

3. Big Retailers HMV and internet music retailers such as play. COM and Amazon. I Would use stores like these because indie fans would still visit these stores but not many magazines would be distributed to these stores as they wouldn’t sell very often in my opinion.

4. Through own website I thought creating a website for the magazine would be a good idea as this gives indie fans the chance to find out about the magazine and also the magazine would give frequent updates on happenings in the indie world.

5. Retailers I would want to avoid Supermarkets , mainstream retailers .For example Tesco and whsmith. I would want to avoid these as not many indies would shop in Tesco for their magazines or CD’s. So it would be pretty pointless targeting this kind of market.
