Time: 10 – 15 mins
Procedure:
1. Tell students that many foreigners are really interested in our Tet festival and
they are now have an opportunity to introduce Tet to them.
2. Put them into groups and ask them to prepare a short talk about Tet. If students
find it hard to do, the teacher should guide them with the ideas such as (when,
how to celebrate, which activities people often take part in, which activities are
traditional, and enjoyable).
3. Go round the class and provide them with words and phrases to express their
ideas about Tet.
4. When the groups have finished, ask one group to present their talk, then ask
other groups to add their ideas.
5. The teacher can round up by making a list of things which should be mentioned
about Tet.
