2. Style sheet
I have chosen a bright colour scheme for my
advergame as I am using a comic style graphic
for the advergame and comics are full bright
colours. I have decided to use the comic style
as it is easier to design and can be quite
playful as I can design things weird and wacky
for the advergame. The text I have chosen are
just some typical texts used for titles of video
games, I might not use these for my final
design as I am thinking of using a more comic
style text.
3. Layout 1
For my advergame I am
thinking of using this for
the background and
possibly another
background, this will the
basic background for the
start of the video. The
character will drop in over
the house and pick up
some items, the top right
of the screen will be a
map showing the player
icon moving as the player
moves.
4. Layout 2
Within my advergame I am
thinking of transitioning
backgrounds, the player
will move from the first
location which is layout
one, to this location. This is
where the player with have
a run in with another
player, a fight will then
ensue and the player will
lose, this is where the
advergame will end.
6. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
What if my work gets deleted or the computer
crashes ?
Make sure to back to up my work on a memory
stick or on cloud storage.
What if I can’t find a certain colour or silhouette
on the internet ?
I will have to change the colour I was going to
use to something else and make a silhouette
myself if I cannot find it.
What if the computer I am using doesn’t have
Photoshop ?
Find and use a different computer that has
Photoshop.
What if Photoshop crashes and I haven’t saved
my work ?
Save every time I add something new or change
something. Take screenshots so I always know
what I am doing.
7. Health and Safety
Potential Issue
How will the issue be
avoided?
Eye strain
I will make sure to take five minutes breaks when
my eyes start to feel strained.
Headaches
I will make sure to have water with me so I can
stay hydrated and not have a headache.
Hand Cramps
I will make to stretch out my hands so they do
not get cramped.
