Provide detailed descriptions from chosen examples that establish…
Clearly state what production technique(s) you think have
been used to create specific soundtrack elements
Setting
The setting is a real world environment and close to an ocean where 3 male
characters are set. These characters sound like they‘re also settling a debt as they
talk about settling things between them and the others.
I think that the production techniques used for
this cut scene is possibly a sound booth to create
the sounds off the water splashing and the sound
off the bike and cars driving off near the end at
3.10 ad 3.26.
Mood
At the beginning there is a song at the start to set the mood, from 1.10 to 1.4 there
is a lot of shouting and swearing making the mood quite tense. At 2.10 a car blows
up and after that the mood is quite joyful as the characters are making cheerful
joke.
Game genre
Action/Adventure/RPG, The game genre sounds like it’s an action game because you
can hear a car explode and there is a lot off swearing and shouting and violence in
the scene.
I think audio editing software has been used to
adjust to the pitch and volume, at 2.10 a car
blows up after being drove into the ocean and at
3.35 The sound changes to a song to change the
mood from tense but relieved to happy.
The voice over is clear and sound s like a quality
microphone was used for the voices off the
characters as they come across crisp and clear.
Narrative
The narrative off this scene is the ending between a feud between gangs and how
the music conveys the aftermath (blowing up off the car) the music details the
feeling that the feud is over and it’s the end.
