2. Audience
• My audience/leaners will be 2nd graders
• Subject area: Language Arts & Math
• We will be discussing spelling and grammar on
the Smartboard using the lesson plan of
Balloon Pop
• We will be discussing math using the
Smartboard with Gumball math
3. Attendance
• I will use the Smartboard for taking
attendance in the morning.
• For the Attendance each student will have to
go up to the Smartboard and write their own
names on the board to practice their
penmanship
• This will be a fun way for the students to
practice their signatures and for me to know
who is in class without roll call
4. Balloon Pop
• In my class lesson my students will be using
the Smartboard to learn spelling and grammar
• In this assignment they will choose a balloon
they believe is the proper spelling or grammar
usage and they will pop that balloon
• If it is right the balloon will pop and have a
checkmark. If it is not correct then it will not
pop

6. Gumball Math
• In this lesson plan the students will be learning
how to categories colors into different groups.
• It is a fun way for students to look at an
enjoyable aspect to them such as gum and
applying it to math

Math

8. Smartboard in the
Classroom
• I will be making my classroom very hands on
• Through the use of a Smartboard it gives
students the means to learn in a enjoyable and
hands on way
• I would use the Smartboard to create games
and different learning activities such as
Balloon Pop and Gumball Math
9. Universal Design
• The use of a Smartboard is open to everyone
• It is obtainable to all students even those with special needs
• I would make the Smartboard lessons diverse such as with
the Attendance, Balloon Pop and Gumball Math. I would do
this so that all students with different types of learning
styles have a chance to learn in an optimal way
• If a student struggles with the use of a Smartboard then I
would be willing to work with the student/students after
class or school hours to help them understand and use the
board correctly
