2. Why is weather an essential part in
your filming?
• Getting the weather right is essential when creating our
thriller opening as if the lighting is too dark, our opening
could be seen as a horror to our potential audience.
Additionally, if the lighting isn’t quite dark enough it, our
footage won’t have that stereotypical approach which we
are aiming our lighting to be, therefore we are leaving
the it same, so that the audience can interpret what
genre film our opening is from the lighting .
3. When are you filming our footage?
• We have decided to film our outside footage on Monday 8th
December at 5pm, this is due to the fact that we need the lighting to
be dark in order for it to convey with our thriller genre.
• I have researched on BBC Weather what weather we are likely to
encounter while filming and the weather will be ‘partly cloudy’, this
links to our thriller genre well as the clouds will be conveying the
thriller stereotypes.
