Independence is a phenomenonin which a country gets
liberated from external political control or liberation from being
enslaved. The title ‘Exodus’ in the old Testament is a derivative
of the Greek word Exodus (from Greek -Exodus, meaning “going
out”), is the second book of the Torah and the Hebrew Bible
(the Old Testament).
This Exodussignifies leadingthe people of Israel out of
Egypt wherethey had been under bondage of slavery for over
400 years: Exodus 3:7-10. They were under the leadership of
Moses who lead them to the Promised Land as God promised to
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
As a sequel to the event ofthe Exodus, the liberated people
became a nation and were given the status of sons and daughters
of God. Similarly, we the Indians are thankful to the Lord for the
freedom we got through Mahatma Gandhi and great freedom
fighters like Jawaharlal Nehru. The bondage manifests itself in
various spheres of life, which against the will of God and the
Bible brings it under the caption, ‘Sin’.
The Nazareth manifesto of Jesus Christ qualifies the
bondage and lays down the plan of action of liberation: Luke
4:18-19. In order for those in bondage to achieve freedom they
must be willing to endure suffering, even suffering unto death.Jesus
Christ demonstrated through His death on the cross of Calvary
for theliberation of the world. “Stand fast therefore in the liberty
wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again
with the yoke of bondage”: Galatians 5:1.
The resurrected Lord Jesus Christ has commanded His
disciples to take this gospel of freedom to the ends of the earth:
Matthew 28:18-20. The gospel established itself in various
methods by liberating people from superstition, ignorance,
illiteracy, andthrough the work of the Ministry
wheremissionarysocieties worked in Africa, Asia andthe uttermost
parts of the World.
We must always thank the Lord who saved us from the
clutches of Satan and allowed us to gain spiritual bliss. We have
to pray vigorously for the salvation of those who are under systems
of false belief that they will be set totally free.
Since we are liberated by the benevolence of the Lord Jesus Christ,
we need to pray for the spiritual freedom of our fellow beings.
We have to make use of every opportunity to lead the people
toward the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the
people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalm 33:12.

The Bible truth is that Jesus was crucified, that He was
raised from the dead, and that He will forgive sins and give new
life when people repent and trust Him as their Savior: Mark 1:15.
All Christians are to be witnesses concerning these facts.
The Church is growing all over India as never before. In the wake
of such phenomenal growth there is a growing dilemma
thatthousands of churches are without any trained leadership. There
are not enough Bible Colleges and Seminaries to accomplish the
great task.
Good News Bible College and Seminaries are stepping into
the training crisis to meet the urgent need all over India in an
effective practical way to make disciples and church planting.
Our vision is to give One Fair Chance to every Indian to
respond to the Gospel by equipping the church leaders with
theological training so that they will impact their own
neighborhoods and society within their reach and to prepare
mission workers for the vast population in India. Through this
indigenous mission work, we express this as ‘One Fair
Chance’Mission India.
India has a population of 1.3 billion people with 70% of
the population living in rural villages. We fervently pray thatthrough
this magazine, “Wisdom for the Heart” and our desire to reach
our own people that they may apply their hearts unto wisdom:
Psalm 90:12.
The apostle Paul concluded his mission with a statement,
saying,”I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and
I have kept the faith.Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown
of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give
me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love
his appearing”: II Timothy 4:8 The Mission to the unreached is
itself the command ofGod: Matt 28:19.
Please write to us if you have suggestions or comments,
we appreciate your support and encouragement.
Thank you for being a partner with us for reaching the loss

I Am a
Dispensationalist
In 1965, I accepted Christ as my Savior and
one of my first discoveries was an independent
Baptist church. Upon entering the senior youth
room I noticed a large plastic banner laying out
the 7 dispensations and what characterized each
one. It was here that I first took notice without
any understanding this idea journey of
understanding that would shape my world view
and future anticipations as a Christian. I would
like to take a moment not as a form of discourse
or persuasive exegetical study but simply in the
form of a testimony to state, I am happily a
dispensationalist.
Every step of knowledge from my spiritual
birth until my graduation from seminary was a
consecrated effort to grow in Christ and to come
to grips with dispensational thought and its
counterparts like covenant theology. Through it
all I found myself evolving as a dispensationalist,
evolving with a sense of real contentment since
in this persuasion I was comfortable to treat all of
the scriptures using the historical grammatical
approach. There was no need for allegorical
interpretation or explaining away eschatological
areas of scripture. Here Israel was not done or
replaced but still a people with a promise to be
fulfilled, baptism was not related to circumcision,
the church bore uniqueness as the bride of Christ
with a special future and global reading-the-bible
responsibility, the Old Testament was not some
text reserved for the past only of value as one
seeks to find Christ under the bushel basket of
words that make up this inspired text, and future
things ring with all the clarity and thrill of literal
interpretation as one wanders through books like
Isaiah, Daniel, Zechariah, I, II Thessalonians, and
Revelation.
I am comfortable in being called a
dispensationalist and to understand the unfolding
of history to be of dispensations as a means to
understand the Bible. I didn’t know then that I
was about to embark on aseen as periods of
critical change culminating in the Day of the Lord
with its theological terms of Rapture, 2nd Coming,
Tribulation, Antichrist, Gog and Magog,
Armageddon, Kingdom, and knowing that through
it all salvation from the fall of man through all the
periods of critical change has remained the same;
God rescuing sinners by grace through faith.
Dispensational truth has for some 40 years been
a very comfortable position for me with solid
scriptural structures until recently I have noticed
a growing change in evangelicalism and even
among many of my associates in ministry.
Especially upon leaving the 20th Century I have
seen a move toward a more covenant position, a
move that still had room for me and my
dispensational position. But today it seems to be
taking on a form of militancy that looks at
dispensational thought as if it was a form of
heresy. Covenant Theology seems to be
That in every thing ye are enriched by Him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge _ 1Cor 1:5

championed by many leading evangelical leaders
and celebrities who have real clout and have the
ear of evangelicals today.
I began to question if over all these years I
had ignorantly followed a line of thinking that was
at best a form of theological shallowness. It sent
me back to the books, back to the Bible and back
to innumerable conversations over the past on the
importance of dispensational truth and its counter
part of covenant theology. When I came to the
end of this study I did not begin to follow many in
the evangelical line and gladly embrace their
covenant theology but instead I gave myself to
the ongoing study of understanding
dispensational truth, a truth that should not be
stagnate but one of greater discovery, full of
scriptural foundations and understandings. To my
delight I have found many others who have not
succumb but instead have also given themselves
to the beneficial study of understanding
dispensational truth as it is laid out in the context
of the scriptures.
To that group is included my colleagues at
Shepherds Theological Seminary who have given
themselves to the advancement of dispensational
thought and to do it unashamedly. Here we
interpret the scriptures in a historical grammatical
means and from it we clearly see dispensational
thought unveiled throughout the Bible story.
Dispensational truth is a vast study within the
scriptures that evangelical theologians would do
well to fully understand and to comprehend
within its scriptural boundaries that still need to
be unveiled. Here at Shepherds we relish the
opportunity to be on the cutting edge of
dispensational understanding and to do it without
alienating our covenant brothers and sisters in
Christ, that is, those who really do thirst to know
what the Word of God is saying.
Now with 45 years of ministry behind me
I rejoice that I am still a dispensational theologian
and that I am a member of a seminary family that
cherishes the truths of scripture and proudly
embraces dispensational theology. I find
contentment here and at the same time a longing
to investigate further and to explain better
dispensational theology. There is still a lot of work
to be done with respect to this theological concept
and a solid foundation of past theologians who
have left us a clear path to follow.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, them peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated,
full of mercy and good fruits, with out partiality, and without Hypocricy- James -3:17

Please take a moment today to pray for the nation of India as we celebrate
69th Independence day on 15th August 2015
❖ Please pray for Good News Bible College and Seminaries; the Director, Professors and the
students families.
❖ On August 10th, GNBCS branch at Chirala will have its Tenth Convocation. Pray for the
graduates and for their ministries.
❖ Pray for Good News Bible College and Seminaries to be established in every towns and cities,
all over India.
❖ Pray for Wisdom for the Heart translation efforts that we may reach remote rural villages, tribes,
language groups, besides cities with the expositional message for clear understanding of the
word of God and to overcome psychology preaching methods.
❖ Pray for the Good News of Jesus Christ to reach every village and town. That the gospel mes-
sage would be made available to every person in India.
❖ Pray for the cultural barriers of caste system to be overcome by the Gospel. Pray for justice and
hope in a nation plagued by oppression, poverty, and disease.
❖ That God would continue to call church planters to go into the rural regions and start house
churches. This is happening today on an unprecedented scale, but much work remains to be
done. Tens of thousands of villages still need theologically qualified pastors.
❖ That India's young population would find hope in Christ and practical help through education.
Millions of children go to bed each night in India hungry, orphaned, or even worse - victims of
child trafficking. Pray for many Christians to rise up to help, support and love these children.
❖ That Christian workers would be safe from harm. While India is the "world's largest democ
racy," there are areas of the nation whose state or local governments are against Christians - and
many believers face persecution or harassment as a result. Pray for peace and tolerance, so that
the Gospel can be shared effectively, and those who give their lives to serve would be free to do
so.

Recently a friend posed a question
relating to the story of the palsied man
lowered through the roof in Capernaum (Mt
9:1-8), and specifically to Jesus’ offer of
forgiveness in that pericope. Basically, the
question had to do with the apparent
incongruity of a man offering forgiveness. The
And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith
said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee: ?Matthew 9:2

question included the suggestion (rejected by
the interrogator) that in that act of
forgiveness, Jesus acted only in His deity and
not in His humanity. The question broached
some issues that I encounter now and again,
and which I believe are worthy of clarification.
Thus I have waxed bold to record my response
in this place.
First, we would all concur that in His
incarnation – in taking upon Himself all of the
real limitations intrinsic to unfallen humanity
– Jesus never surrendered anything of His
deity. Thus, though fully man, the God-Man
Jesus was fully God, and thus could (and did)
claim for Himself the sublime prerogative of
forgiving sins. Indeed, that is the point of the

narrative in Mt 9:1-8. The record is explicit that
it was “…in order that [Jesus’ detractors] might
know that the Son of Man has authority on
earth to forgive sins” that “He said to the sick
of palsy, ‘Get up, pick up your bed, and go
home!’” In short, though He was man very
man, Jesus knew full well that He was God very
God, and thus that even “on earth” He
possessed the authority to forgive those who
believed. Hole in Roof
There is in close connection to that the
legitimate and ultimately perplexing question
of Jesus’ discovery of His own person. Indeed,
whatever there is of mystery in the Person of
Jesusgrowsjustabitdeeperinthisconnection.
(Within the broader field of Christology, this
question is a rubric unto itself; the issue is
known as the Messianic Consciousness of
Jesus, and there is a small mountain of
literature which struggles with it.) My
considered but somewhat loosely held
persuasion is that the boy Jesus did indeed
grow into an understanding of Himself, which
would have included (most dramatically, one
would think) His unique Theanthropic person.
The primary reason for that persuasion is
simply that for all I can possibly tell, such a
process is in the truest sense intrinsic to
humanness. To say it another way, it is not
accidental or incidental to the human
experience to be born a helpless infant who
mustgrowintotheexperienceofpersonalself-
consciousness and self-awareness. And thus if
Jesus’ humanity was full and genuine, it must
have included that dynamic. In this regard,
many have identified the experience in the
temple at the age of twelve (Luke 2:41-52) as
the moment when the boy Jesus’ self-
awareness finally matured, but I am persuaded
that it happened at a much younger age than
that: His mother Mary must have cradled Him
in her arms when He was very young and told
Him of the wondrous circumstances and
events attendant upon His nativity; His mind
was entirely untouched and uncrippled by sin,
and thus the corruption of fallenness –
whatever that is in its noetic expression – did
not hinder His apprehension or appreciation
of the truth concerning who He had become;
the fact that He was unpolluted by the Adamic
nature in body and spirit surely set Him apart
from all His fellows and siblings in ways
noticeable to all, but especially to Himself; and
His evident hunger for His Father’s recorded
Word would have brought Him face-to-face
with those passages which anticipate One who
was to be “the Branch of the LORD” and “the
fruit of the earth” (Isa 4:2).
Therearethosewho,inanefforttodeal
with this specific element of the mystery of
Jesus’ person, have suggested that during the
period of His gestation and infancy another
entirely spiritual (i.e., non-material and extra-
mundane) divine entity, consistently identified
and denominated as “the Logos,” was
somehow operating consciously and
independently of the kenotic entity who was
the embryo/baby Jesus. But that seems to me
to be an entirely neo-platonic expediency
which violates the concept of two natures, one
person – which concept, though Nicene,
nonetheless accurately represents the
teaching of Scripture concerning Jesus. I think
it is wiser to acknowledge and embrace the
bottomless mystery that inheres in the biblical
truth that “the Word became flesh” (one of
those “secret things” which belong to God), to
bow the knee to all that the Scriptures clearly
reveal concerning the person of Jesus (i.e.,
thoserealitieswhich“standrevealed”andthus
“belong to us and our children forever”), and
then to allow our soul/spirits to gasp anew at
the reality that before there was a God-Man
there was a God-Boy, and before there was a
In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the
earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel: Isaiah 4:2
19. Wisdom For the Heart 19 August 2015
God-Boy there was a God-Infant, and before
there was a God-Infant there was a God-
Embryo!
To return to the question at hand, I
would insist that although it is most likely that
Jesus had to grow into self-consciousness, He
certainly lived out His adult life – and thus the
entire ministry recorded in the Gospels – fully
and functionally conscious of who He was, of
the remarkable distinctiveness of His person,
and of the prerogatives which He possessed
because of who He was. Thus there is in Jesus’
actofforgivenessnothinginconsistentwiththe
biblical data concerning His person, and
nothingincoherentorincongruousgiventhose
data.
Second, I am leery of the notion that
Jesus’ act of forgiving the paralytic’s sins might
be isolated to His deity, as opposed to His
humanity. With all of the discussion whether
Jesus had one will or two – discussion that
profits little in my opinion – I think it best
simply to acknowledge that the one person,
Jesus of Nazareth, God come in the flesh,
always acted as one person. He did not
sometimes act as God and other times as man;
indeed, there was no sense in which He could
act or think or desire or die or do anything else
exceptastheGod-man.AndthatGod-manwas
just that – very God and very (unfallen) man.
It was the genuinely Theanthropic and thus
entirely unique Jesus who pronounced
forgiven the sins of that palsied man in
Capernaum. Thus, the issue is not whether it
is possible that man might have the
prerogative to forgive sins (which he does not
and cannot); it is whether the God-man has
such a prerogative. To make the same point
from a more theological perspective, there is
no sense in which, in His incarnation, Jesus was
anything less than unfallen man; there is a
profound and transcendent sense in which,
even in His incarnation, Jesus was more than
unfallen man. The man Jesus laid claim to
divine prerogatives, and thus to divine identity,
when He pronounced that man’s sins forgiven,
and He demonstrated beyond all gainsaying
the truth of that mind-numbing claim by the
miracle of healing He performed upon the
man’s atrophied limbs. Thus did this One who
was unmistakably and genuinely man prove
His claim to be God.
There is mystery in this – mystery which
we have had 2000 years to get accustomed to,
and which we tend to under-appreciate in
terms of its ultimate inscrutability and its
transcendent majesty. In that regard, my fear
is that the notion that this or that act of Jesus
can be isolated to His humanity or His deity
may represent an attempt to reduce the
mystery inherent in the biblical revelation of
His person – an attempt by finite man to
“unscrew the inscrutable,” to define the
dynamics of who Jesus was in a way more
palatableandcomprehensiblethantheGospel
record carefully considered will bear. To be
sure, the attempt is almost always
unintentional, but I would argue that it is
wrong-headednonetheless.Godhasbeenwell
pleased to set before the generations the
mystery of the One who was and is, at once,
the Son of Man and the Son of God – the God-
man, Jesus of Nazareth. The mandate given
every generation is simply to embrace that
mystery in all of its parts, to bow the knee to
allthatstandsrevealed,andtoofferwondering
worship to that One “whose goings forth have
been from of old, from everlasting,” and who
late in time has become our near-kinsman in
order that He might be our Redeemer.

“To give every
person in India One Fair
Chance to respond for the
Gospel of Jesus Christ- is
our Goal”
The Greatest Need
of the Hour
The Church is
growing all over India as
never before. In the wake
of such phenomenal
growth there is a growing
dilemma; thousands of
Churches are without any
trained leadership. There are simply not enough
biblical trainers to accomplish the great task.
GNBC&S is stepping into the training crises
to meet the urgent need of the hour, all over
India, in an effective, practical way to make
disciples and planting Churches. It is time to
resolve and determine to do what He had told
us to do (Mat 28:16-20). It is time to work
together and time to help one another what God
has called us to do uniquely and collectively. It
is time to surrender ourselves to God’s agenda
and time to trust one another and encourage
one another. Good News Bible College &
Seminary has been committed to equipping
saints to follow and serve Christ and
multiplying ourselves in the ministries during
this 21st century task.
a). Journey
The journey of Good News Bible
College and Seminary began with a proverbial
Motto, “a journey of a thousand miles begins
with a small step.”And that small step was taken
by Dr. G. Jayasekhar in 1999 with a vision of,
“Where there is no vision, people perish”
(Prov.29:18). Neither could he be “disobedient
unto the heavenly vision” (Acts 26:19). He
received this vision to initiate a Theological
College to equip the Laity, Pastors, Evangelists,
Businessmen and Women, Government
Employees and Church Elders who felt the
‘Call of God’for Evangelism and Mission. The
College started in Secunderabad in 1999 with
60 students. God has been mightily using the
GNBC&S. Its commitment and academic
excellence has throughout India. In response

b). Why Does He Call us?
1. Because the world is in darkness: “We
know that we are ourselves are children of God,
and we also know that the world around us is
under the power of the evil one” (I John 5:19).

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ: Ephesians 4:12
Vision – 2020 (5yrs plan)
21. Wisdom For the Heart 21 August 2015
Because people are hungry and in need.
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion
on them, because they were harassed and
helpless, like sheep without a shepherd” (Matt
9:36) To Prove His Wisdom “His intent was
through the Church, the manifold wisdom of
God should be made known to the rulers and
authorities in Heavenly Realms, according to
the eternal purpose which he accomplished in
Christ Jesus our Lord” (Eph 3:10, 11)
2. Because the Time is short
“Do you not say, ‘four months more and
then the harvest”? I tell you, open your eyes
and look at the fields! They are ripe for the
harvest” (John 4:35 & John 9:4.)
c).WHAT HAPPENS WHEN
WE ARE CALLED?
❖ We are made by Him, “Come, follow
me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I WILL MAKE
YOU fishers of men” (Matt 4:19 &
Jeremiah 18:1-10).
❖ We are taught by Him, “But the
counselor the Holy Spirit, whom the
Father will send in my name, will teach
you all things and will remind you of
every thing I have said to you” (John
14:26, I Cor 2:12 and I John 2:27)
❖ We are sent by Him, “As you sent me
into the world, I have sent them into the
world” (John 17:18 and Mark 16:15)
When God calls; He comes and
interrupts our lives. Some examples of
this in the scripture are:
❄ Moses (A Shepherd in the desert)
“Go,set my people free” (Exo
3:1-12)
❄ Samuel (A boy serving in the
temple) “Wake up, speak for me”
(I Sam 3:1-12, Ezekiel (a captive
in a foreign land): “Stand up, I
am sending you” (Eze 2:1-7)
❄ Disciples (businessmen, fisher
men): “come, follow me” (Luke
5:57-28 andMatt 4:18-22).
❄ Saul (an enemy of the Church): “Go,
I will tell you what you must do (Acts
9:1-9)
GNBC&S, “at the end of theAcademic studies
the students will be transformed into leaders
and will have relevant skills to lead others to
Christ by word and example, and to also enable
and equip others to do the same” II Tim 3:16.
d). Each One - Reach One;
Each One - Teach One.
Paul teaches in the above verses that the
primary purpose of a church leader is to train
others. Paul explains this to young Timothy.
His job as Church leader was to train others.
He was to take the training he received from
Paul and pass it on to other faithful men. These
in turn were also to teach still to other faithful
men. “And the things that you have heard of
me among many witnesses, the same commit
thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also” (II Tim 2:2)
Following Paul’s principle of training
others would set off a chain reaction of
multiplication that would cause the Gospel to
be spread quickly over the whole world. The
following chart shows what would happen if
you would take ONE other faithful man and
spend ONE year training him. The second year,
you and the one you trained would each train
another one. If you keep this process up for
thirty three years look what would happen.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19

My Thought for you: If one man, the director
of Good News Bible College and Seminary can
graduate 11,000 in 16 years. How much
together we will achieve. (Deut 32:30)
If each one would teach one, at the end
of 33 years, more people would be trained than
the population of the world. If we would do
things the Bible way, we would experience
biblical results. “and there went great
multitudes with Him… and more believers
were added to the Lord, multitudes both of men
and women” (Luke 14:25, Acts 5:14). This is
God’s desire, for multitudes to follow Jesus.
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great
multitude, which no man could number, of all
nations and kindreds and people and tongues,
stood before the throne, and before the Lamb,
clothed with white robes…. (Rev 7:9).Yes!The
Lord wants multitudes saved. “The Lord…
Is…. Not willing that any should perish, but
that all should come to repentance” (II Peter
3:9). He has given us principles to ensure this
result.
e). How do you see the Prospects
of GNBC&S?
It is a God given vision (Eph. 4:12) and
we will achieve this goal. There is no doubt
about it.We believe that character development
is a legitimate concern of Biblical teaching. As
the Lord guides and leads, this ministry must

go on and the Lord’s people everywhere are to
be exhorted to do the work of an Evangelist.
( II Tim 4:2-5).
This is my prayer that you will serve
Him joyfully and diligently, wherever the Lord
directs and leads you to win souls and plant
new Churches to build the kingdom of God.

Matt. 28:20. “GNBC&S targets the more
experienced, matured, educated Christians in
various Churches to develop them into qualified
pastors, teachers and Evangelists for Church
planting”
Together we can make a difference: “To
give every person in India ONE FAIR
CHANCE to respond to the Gospel of Jesus
Christ, is our Goal”. Would you help make
this prayer a reality, as we thrust forward to
reach India for Christ?
There is surely a Future Hope for you and your hope will not be cut off (Prov 23:18)

I have trusted in thy mercy. my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation” (Psalm 13:5)
Do you believe
in miracles?
Prof. Ben LaCorte
Apologist
An atheist once defined a miracle as
something that would never happen if nature
had its way. That’s true! A miracle is a temporary
suspension of the laws of nature. But since the
God who created the law can also set it aside,
nature doesn’t always get its way.
A famous philosopher, smart guy, said
that miracles happen so rarely - a reasonable
person is better off not believing in them. Well
we know they don’t happen all the time. That’s
why we call them … miracles. But if they happen
at all, that’s a good reason to believe in them.
So what’s the evidence? The bible
chronicles many miracles in detail, sometimes
naming the time in history, the place and who
was there. These historical accounts were then
distributed within the lifetime of the
eyewitnesses. They could have refuted the
stories. They could have said “those things never
happened.” But they didn’t.
End of the day, There’s no logical reason
for believing that miracles are impossible.
There’s no evidence that says they didn’t happen
but plenty that says they did.
God created the laws of nature. His Son,
Our Lord upholds all things and in Him all things
hold together. Nature was created by Him,
through Him and for Him. He directs His
creation so that we would better understand who
He is, “though you don’t believe in Me” said our
Lord, “believe in the miracles, so that you may
know and understand that the Father is in me
and I in the Father” John 10.

shepherd boy randomly throws a rock into a cave.
He hears the shatter of a clay jar. Hmm? What
could that be? He enters the cave - and in the
darkness finds hundreds of ancient manuscripts
that have been hidden in clay jars.
The Dead Sea Scrolls have been liberated.
Archeologists find more than two hundred Old
Testament scriptures that date back to a time
before Christ. Every book of the Old Testament
is represented except Esther. Most importantly,
there’s a complete copy of Isaiah.
Bible Critics chomp at the bit to validate what
they’ve always believed. The Bible is a hoax. But
just the opposite happens! When the newly
discovered parchments are compared with the
today’s scriptures - they agree almost perfectly.
The biblical critics go back on the plane, empty
handed.
Here’s the point! The accuracy of the
Dead Sea Scrolls testifies to the exceptional way
the Old Testament has been preserved over these
two thousand plus years. The Spirit of God
inspired their writing and guaranteed their
safekeeping. You could say the resounding truth
of God’s word “echoes’ throughout the
centuries.

Which came first,Which came first,Which came first,Which came first,Which came first,
the Chickthe Chickthe Chickthe Chickthe Chicken or the Egg?en or the Egg?en or the Egg?en or the Egg?en or the Egg?
There’s a mystery that has confounded
philosophers for ages. Even today it ties
evolutionists into knots. For example, some
skeptics argue that since chickens evolved from
dinosaurs or some other non-chicken like animal,
and since that animal came from an egg, it must
be the egg that came first. But all this does is to
kick the chicken, and the egg down the road,
because the next question is? Where did the non-
chicken animal egg come from?
Confused? It doesn’t get any better.
Another popular contortion used by skeptics is
that neither came first. The chicken and the egg
both evolved together over millions of years. But
that doesn’t make sense. Since one definitely
comes from the other, how could they both come
at the same time?
As Christians, we suffer from no such
confusion. The bible answers the question clearly
and simply. In the beginning, God created the
Heavens and the earth. He created every winged
bird after its own kind, male and female He
created them. And boy, were they fruitful. It
wasn’t long before the first chicken laid her first
egg. End of mystery.
So stop walking on egg shells. Engage
your skeptical friend. Ask them this question.
What came first, the chicken or the egg. And
then answer it with reason and with love. They’ll
appreciate you unscrambling their beliefs.

Testimony. .
The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death. Psalm 118:18
I am the third child in a family of seven,
having been born to Christian parents in
Rampur, Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, on
September 2nd 1953 (now aged 62 years). My
mother, Mrs. Saramma (Baptist), was an orphan
brought up by German Lutheran missionaries
in Gudur and my late father, Mr. Devados was
also groomed by these said missionaries. They
were both elementary grade teachers in the
Central School, in a tiny village called Talupur
in Nellore where I spent my entire childhood
and youth.
My father’s Christian-spirituality and my
mother’s divine talents of singing hymns, with
regularly attending church, and my father also
leading the worship service of the Church,
whenever the parish Pastoral could not attend
the worship service, I was inspired with a strong
desire to follow in their footsteps.
God has gifted me with talent to sing and
therefore I use my voice for singing of Hymns
to rejoice in praises of the Lord. During the same
year, I suffered a peculiar fever, having brought
me to death’s door and I kept imploring the
Lord’s mercy. It then became clear to me almost
immediately that the Holy Spirit brought to my
mind and promise to Joel 2: 32. “And it shall
come to pass that whoever calls on the name of
the Lord shall be delivered”. So to me, a miracle
had taken place and I was cured. In thanksgiving,
I recalled Psalm 118:18
In February 1977, I was given an Officer’s
position in Copper Mines, Khammam district,
where for various reasons, I was unable to adjust,
asking the Lord to take me out of there, and to
my disbelief, in October 1977, I landed a job in
Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka State.
However, work conditions of
deep underground Gold mining were highly
dangerous for my health and I was unhappy, but
the Lord again lifted me to a position in the
Minister of Mines, Government of India, where
I reported as Group –B Gazetted Officer in
central services at Goa. This had to be the work
of God! I was married to my maternal uncle’s
daughter Jessi in February 1981, and we have
three sons.
In 1988, I was transferred to Hyderabad.
My family occupied central quarters at
Gachibowli where there was no church. My thirst
and zeal for serving the Lord had come into
being, and in accordance with the Lord’s guidance
and will, I had taken the lead to plant a church
through Christian Brethren Assembly at
Gachibowli, and for 15 years I was one among
the elders of the church. The Lord used me as
his instrument in sharing of His glory.
I was not fully content with the word of God,
and my soul thirsted for Systematic
Theology. So my precious Lord was gracious to
me and according to His will, on March 4th 2015,
He led me to meet the Director Dr. Jayasekhar,
N. Samuel Prabhakar Rao, (B.D)
