This document provides information on redeeming time from various perspectives. It discusses how we should walk wisely and seize opportunities to understand God's will. True redemption of time involves practicing God's presence, encouraging one another, and reflecting on effective service for God's glory. Several missionaries are cited as examples who influenced many to fulfill the Great Commission in God's time and way. The document emphasizes the global nature of the church and evangelism, with the indigenous churches owning responsibility for evangelizing the world. It encourages readers to devote more to fulfilling Christ's command to spread the gospel to all nations.

A trip to Israel is more than exciting … It is life changing!
People’s single greatest expression when they return from a visit to Israel is, “I’ll never be the same.” Something about sailing on the Sea of Galilee, walking the streets of Jerusalem, and viewing the empty tomb creates an eternal change of heart and spirit. Wherever you go, you can sense God’s presence. When you visit Israel, God’s Word becomes clearer, your faith becomes deeper, and your passion for the Lord becomes stronger. We believe that, once you visit Israel, you’ll never be the same! The adventure begins here, with this step-by-step guide, prepared especially for Christian pastors and ministry leaders like you. Every detail you need to organize and host your own tour of Israel is included in this guide. You will find answers to the questions most often asked about leading a group to the land of the Bible. Most of all, you’ll discover how you can do your part to make sure your trip is one that leaves people saying, “I’ll never be the same"

Fellowship is one of those buzz Christian words. Churches have
fellowship halls, fellowship meetings, and times of fellowship. But what
do we mean?
The Greek word is koinonia, which translates as partnership. The origin
of the word is koinonos, which means partner, sharer, and companion. In
short, it is a shared community that involves deep, close-knit
participation among its people. The picture then is not of a surface-level,
friendly fellowship but of a radical and almost intimate unity. And this is
the consistent teaching of the New Testament. The first occurrence of
koinonia in the Bible comes in Acts 2:42. The newly baptized believers
“devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship
(koinonia), to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Luke comments that
they, “had everything in common” as they sold property to give to
anyone in need, gathered regularly in the temple courts, and ate joyfully
in their homes (Acts 2:43-47). This is far more than formal nominal
Christianity. This is the real deal. And it’s attractive because it’s so real. God has saved us to belong to his new family, and the mark of true
belonging is an active love which sacrificially serves.
In this presentation, Bro. Afoke Ben encouraged the brethren to be more committed in the activities of the Church and in being of good examples to their children. Read the presentation for more admonitions.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

“ Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not
unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is and be not
drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be lled with the spirit;
speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” Ephesians 5:16-19

3. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Eph 5:16). The Lord
has provided us with an equal break every day and blessed us,
irrespective of our nature, our socio-economic, or religious background
with the gift of time. No one else has more or less time than you and I,
when any day or week, month and year begins.
The Apostle Paul gives us the clarion call in Ephesians “So be careful
how you live. Don’t live like ignorant people.” In this evil age every
day is an evil day full of pernicious things which cause our time to be
used ineffectively, to be reduced and to be taken away. Therefore, we
must walk wisely that we may redeem the time, seizing every avail-
able opportunity. To understand the will of the Lord is the best way
to redeem our time: “Walk in wisdom toward those who are without,
redeeming the time.” Colossians 4:5.
We need to remember that we really are not responsible for our abili-
ties, etc. but we are certainly responsible for the strategic investment of
our time. Redeeming the time means to stop gossiping about wrong,
false, bad and unwanted things when they come our way. Redeeming
the time is not to go faster, get in a hurry, getting restless, rush through
the prayer time, skip the prayer meetings, skip the fellowship time, or
delaying, postponing, exaggerating matters, or to be involved in false
and wrong reporting.
Redeeming the time is practicing the presence of God; sharing the glo-
ry of achievements with our fellow believers, appreciating each one’s
contributions, ideas, hard work, creativity, and abilities, practicing a
good sense of humor, being flexible and practical in our day to day
life. We must remember that we should encourage one another. We
should help one another. We should appreciate one another, correcting
each other with love and gratitude. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not labor
continuously, day and night without proper food, rest and relaxation.
Above all our Lord has shown us clearly that our work should be the
outcome of our relationship with God, primarily through worship and
relationship with one another.
As the disciples of the Lord Jesus, He needs to redeem our time. The
pioneer missionaries like Martin Luther, David Livingston, Adoniram
Judson, Hudson Taylor, Charles Finny, David Brainerd, William Car-
ey, Sadhu Sunder Singh Bhaktha Singh and many more are influencing
hundreds and thousands of missionaries to follow the Great commis-
sion in God’s time.
All God’s servants have been weak men and women, who did great
things for God because they reckoned on God being with them. God’s
work must be done in God’s way and in God’s time. They will never
lack God’s supply. I am no longer anxious about anything, as I realize
that God is able to carry out his will for me. It does not matter where
God places me or how. I believe that it is for God to consider, not me,
for in the easiest positions God will give me grace and in the most dif-
ficult times God’s grace is sufficient.
May God help us to reflect on the above experience of joy and happi-
ness in rendering effective service in His time for His glory.

Everybody talks about ‘Globalization in Economics.’ Politics
challenge us to develop an appropriate ‘Concept for Missions
and the Church.’ The Bible focuses on the whole Gospel for the
whole person, in their social, political, economic, cultural and re-
ligious contexts. We want to express the Lordship of Jesus Christ
over every aspect of world Evangelization, in our economic, po-
litical, and personal lives. We should feel the responsibility of
caring for the souls of persons by bringing an awakened social
consciousness. We must become more sensitive to the needs of
the whole person- body, mind, and soul. As the Lord permits, we
do what we can to show the love of God. Infused into whatever
form a ministry takes is the out-working of Christ’s purpose to
seek and to save the lost: Luke 19:10.
It is the will to God for every Christian to have a vital part in
world evangelism. More than Two-Thirds of the world’s four bil-
lion have never heard the Gospel of Christ. A billion and a half
young people in the world have never been evangelized. Three
million cities, towns and villages in the world have never heard
the gospel of Christ. Two thousand tribes do not have the word
of God in their own languages. What are you doing to obey the
command of Christ to get the Gospel to them? We are responsible
and will be held accountable: Prov. 24:10-12.
The Church has a global face. The ‘AD 2000 and Beyond Move-
ment’ was the most important contribution in highlighting and
popularizing of the massive challenge in the ‘10/40 Window.’The
concern of the ‘Un-reached People Group’ has been used exten-
sively as a strategic mission and it turned out to be an ‘exotic’
description of people, because it tends to sensitize the hard con-
texts and changing realities in which people live and where evan-
gelization takes place. The mission workers involved in evange-
lism among those who do not know the Gospel are from the two
thirds world. The indigenous missions and churches are to own
the responsibility for their Churches and the evangelization of the
world.
Jesus spoke carefully about missions. Luke 10:1 says the Lord
sent the Seventy, two-by-two, using the word “Apostello ” and in
Luke 10:2, Jesus highlights the need to send out workers into his
harvest field.
The number of believers has rapidly increased. The demand for
workers and ministry has also rose. There are many things that
need to be done to maintain and take care of the congregations.
Jesus says, “Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them
in the name of the father and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost”:
Matt 28:19. This mandate is for all nations. Many of us may need
to re-arrange priorities in order to devote ourselves more lovingly
to the world’s need to fulfill the great commission of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
