According to the RE/MAX Leading Edge November Housing Report, the Massachusetts and Greater Boston
housing market has slowed as we approach the holiday season. Sales of combined condo and single family
homes in Massachusetts increased +1.1% year-over-year.  Inventory is down -16% year-over-year and we
continue to experience an increase in the median price of combined condo and single-family homes +5.8%
year-over-year.  
 
“With the onset of the holidays and the close of 2015, sales have leveled out,” said Linda O’Koniewski, CEO of
RE/MAX Leading Edge.  “However, because buyers remained active through the Fall season, pending sales are
actually up +6.5% year-over-year which will make for an unseasonably strong first quarter.  Serious buyers are
not daunted by the holidays or weather, and we expect a stable market through Q1 2016.”

Sales of combined condo and single family homes in Massachusetts increased +1.1% year-over-year.  Inventory is down -16% year-over-year and we continue to experience an increase in the median price of combined condo and single-family homes +5.8% year-over-year.     “With the onset of the holidays and the close of 2015, sales have leveled out,” said Linda O’Koniewski, CEO of RE/MAX Leading Edge.  “However, because buyers remained active through the Fall season, pending sales are actually up +6.5% year-over-year which will make for an unseasonably strong first quarter.  Serious buyers are not daunted by the holidays or weather, and we expect a stable market through Q1 2016.”
