I'm not sure howmuch haschanged in the past fewyears, but Melrose Middle School wasa very negative experience for me. Courseworkwasremedial, fist fights
in the hallwayswere all too common, and cafeteria food lacked nutritional value.

A couple of excellent guidance counselorsand a fewexcellent teachers. The rest are average, at best.
We have moved to Melrose last year. Compare to the school district my daughter hasattended before (Rockwood schools, MO) Melrose Middle is~ 2 years
behind. My child ispretty much repeating thingsshe haslearned in elementary school.
My son isin the special education dept and the teachersare great there. Outside of that dept the teachersare a bit crasswhen you need to discussanything with
them. I find the principal to be friendly and easy to engage. There are not enough booksand thismakesit hard on the studentswho need to knowwhere old
information isto study.
My daughter and son have been going to thisschool for 3 yearsnow. They lvoe it completely, exept for the homeworkpart of course. But the teachersare great,
the principal isvery nice and the rest of the facultiesjust all together really care. Melrose Middle School isa very good school!
My son hasbeen there for two yearsand findsthe Principal to be excellent. Teachersare good. Shortage of booksand materials.
