1. What have you learnt from your
audience feed back
Ben carter
2. Audience feedback
• I began my audience feedback with fellow students from my school, who sat down and watched
my horror film. They wrote down several positives and negatives about it and also what they
would do if it were their own horror film.
• This enabled me to gather the information and put it into my horror film. For example when
they watched my first draft, they told me it would be better to have a more eye catchy mask,
and have a younger girl to play the protagonist.
• Furthermore I was able to have another insight into what actually scared people, not what just
scared me, which I believe gives my horror film an extra element of fear as it not only to my
tastes but other peoples.
3. What ive learnt
• By using this audience feedback, I have been able to show myself what people like. Its
enabled me to learn that not everything I believe to be right Is in fact correct. It's given
me a bigger picture of the film industry and how much audience feedback can generally
help you succeed in making a very good horror film.
• Ive been able to see how having other people's opinions on your work makes you want
to perfect it to the best possible standard. Meaning I will end up putting a lot more
time and effort into making it very professional and as real as possible.
4. Continued
• Furthermore, the audience feedback, helped me with creating more ideas.
• I was able to talk amongst everyone and ask for their own opinions on what I had
prepared for my film. They gave me their own ideas lso which was very helpful as their
was ideas I had never thought of.
• I believe that without the audience feedback I would ve struggled to have my horror film
where it is today. It was very encouraging to see how people took an interest in my
piece and made me want to make a very professional film.
