FCSS is currently looking for volunteers to assist in the implementation of the Youth
Program at the area Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Looking for youth that are:

Barrhead Composite will be celebrating Random
Acts of Kindness
February 20-23, 2018
What can you do to promote kindness?
How can you encourage others to be kind?
A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by kind people to
either help or cheer up a random stranger, for no reason other than to
make people happier.

Purdy’s Chocolate Fundraiser
Students will be able to sell Purdy’s Chocolates to raise funds for Leadership.
Chocolates will be available before Spring Break.

The InSciTE Experience
Discovery based learning, inside and outside the classroom.
Did you know that the Faculty of Science offers a unique interdisciplinary
experience for first year students? Students engage in interdisciplinary
science projects rooted in scientific inquiry and data analysis. You are
exposed to unique units, tours and discovery based labs like a weekend in
Jasper, forensic science, 3D printing, profiling a researcher, and end the
year designing and completing your very own research project. A superb
opportunity to start your first year in a cohort, explore various topics and
narrow in on your interests. Application is free and is open until May 1,
