• myBlueprint is the easiest way to plan your
education and your career.
• Some of you activated your account in grade 9 and
have not looked at it since.
• It now has activities for grade 7 and 8.
• It has a new look and can be used on any device.

Neudecker if you need help getting into your
account or signing up for an account.

5. Earning Points in myBlueprint
• You can earn points for completing your grade-specific
activities (Home > Activities).
• You can earn even more points as you continue to
explore. Points are awarded for submitting course
selections, responding to an exit survey, exploring jobs,
taking Who Am I compatibility surveys, building
portfolios, and much more!
• Prizes only for BCHS students coming soon.
Thousands of students have redeemed their points for
prize draws and many have already won scholarships,
gift cards, and rewards such as Chromebooks and
iPads.

10.  When: Thursday, March 16
Cost: A mere $5, bought at lunch, between
Monday, March 13th and Wednesday, March
15th, will get you a special name tag which will
allow you the following privileges:
(You will get the name tag 1st block of March
16)
 wear your favourite hat wherever
 if daily homework is not done, you can
produce it for your teacher the next class
day without penalty
 5 minutes late for your classes for the day
are excused
 sit where you choose – no seating plan –
late people sit in remaining seats
 whatever food & drink in the classroom
For an additional $5 each item, paid through any
teacher, will allow you the following individual
privileges with respect to that teacher and class:
Each additional class is an additional $5
 Be a teacher for the class, you decide what
will be done for the 74 minutes (arrangements
must be made 2 days prior)
 If you have other ideas, run them you’re your
teacher for approval.
For an additional $2 each item, paid through any
teacher, will allow you the following individual
privileges with respect to that teacher and class:
Each additional class is an additional $2
 Use your phone in class
 Leave early from class to go for lunch/end of
day
 Look at a test for a minute before
 $10/class, Postpone a test or Quiz
Name tags will be sold March 13-15th at lunch or
through your teacher.

17. myBlueprint Scholarships Now Live
It's back! The myBlueprint Bankroll Contest has been
launched for 2017. Students in Grade 11 and 12 can
redeem Activity Points to enter $500 scholarship draws
to be awarded May 17, 2017.
Ten (10) Finalists will be randomly selected to submit a
short essay (up-to 300 words) describing how they would
use the award and why it is important to them.
Two (2) winners will be selected based on the content of
their essays.
A little bit of work with a big potential payout.

If you have applied to a post-secondary
school, have you checked your
application lately?
Is there anything on your TO-DO list you
may have overlooked?
If you haven’t accepted the school’s offer
of admittance, don’t miss the deadline to
accept.
Have you paid your tuition deposit if you
have accepted?

20. FREE MONEY
$Now that I have your attention, did you know off-
campus courses (work experience, RAP, Green
Certificate and career internship) can count as the
fifth course in calculating Rutherford Scholarship
averages.
$You may not need the high school credit, but do
you want to throw away a potential $2500 in free
money because you were 1% below the average
needed to be eligible?

21. Still haven’t applied to a school?
• Maybe you are just deciding now where you would
like to go after graduating in June
• Some post-secondary schools close applications to
programs on March 31st.
• You will need to check at the school website for
deadline dates.
• Ms Wegner can also help out with this.
