HomeworkHomework will be assigned regularly in class.
It is the student’s responsibility to
complete their homework on time and to
the best of his or her ability.
Assignments need to written in agenda daily!
Use the agenda to check that they’re
turning in their work!
Late work is not accepted.
Students are responsible for getting the
work they missed if they were absent.
Work is only given for excused absences.
Vacations & trips are not excused absences.
Students will be graded on quizzes, tests,
essays, assignments, and projects.
On major assignments and projects, a rubric
will always be provided beforehand.
There will be a final exam/project at the end
of the school year in both subjects.

I do not give grades. Students earn grades. All work in this class is
awarded on a point system. The more points a student earns, the
higher the grade will be. Points are cumulative from the beginning
of the semester. All work counts toward the final grade.
Whenever your child is absent from school, an
excuse note is required when he/she returns.
