2. • How have your technical skills developed since the beginning
of the year?
At first I couldn’t use the equipment's properly, however I have
learnt how to use the camera and other equipment's, moreover,
I have learnt to point out why technical decisions have been
used.
• What did you learn about continuity editing?
I learnt that continuity editing can be used anytime and can be
used to make action flow effectively.
• What was your contribution?
I acted for our task in Spider Park and I also did some research
on park trailers, where I looked for camera works and editing
which we have decided to use in our trailer. I also helped search
for music to fit in with our trailer.
3. • What were the difficulties in this task?
We could not find actors for our task and we had limited amount
of time to film due to the fact that we had missed a previous
lesson. Also we didn’t have enough research to begin with.
• How has this helped you prepare for next year?
This has helped me prepare for next year because I learnt the
importance of preparing beforehand, I will also prepare detailed
research in order to avoid the same situation that we faced
during this task.
• What steps will you now take to ensure you make progress in
your year 13 practical task?
I will ensure that I contribute equally as the other members of
my group and will also ensure that I do more technical tasks such
as editing in order to improve my knowledge of final cut pro.
