INTENDED INSTITUTION Bringer studios
OUR INTENDED AUDIENCE
We have decided to aim our music video at young adults and
teenagers. This will be our target audience. Due to some of the
content it wouldn’t be suitable for any ages younger than 13. We
now are challenged with finding the right way to advertise and
show our music video in order to directly target this audience.
Taking into account what is popular with this group.
OUR INTENDED INSTITUTION
Via research in our questionnaire we know that most people 15-21
use platforms such as YouTube to access music videos. This means it
is imperative we link with Sony and UMG in order to be part of their
service, VEVO. VEVO a hosting service that promotes official music
videos and most people go to this service to watch the videos of their
favourite artists.
Another institution that could prove successful when showing our
video is Capital TV. Coming from the UK’s Number 1 radio station its
name and popularity will undoubtedly attract viewers and to get our
video in the 5-10pm slot on the show could prove very useful when
promoting our music video.
OTHER OPTIONS
The power of social media has definitely not gone unnoticed. We are
aware that our target audiences will also access videos on networking
sites such as Twitter, Facebook and even Snapchat via their news
tabs. We will be promoting the video on these to build up to the
release. This will hopefully attract more viewers when it finally gets
released.
