2. We have decided to target our music video towards a younger generation including
young adults as well as teenagers. Our intended institution will now have to match up
with our target audience which means that we have to find a TV channel that we think
will be acceptable to show our music video as well as what time would be the best to
match our audience.

3. As our target audience is of a younger generation we need a
TV channel that displays POP music videos to young people,
such as MTV, Capital TV or Kidz Only! The most suitable TV
channel to display our video to our target audience will be
Capital TV.
Our Intended Institution
4. Capital TV is based off of Capital FM Radio station which plays POP music to millions of
listeners on a daily basis. They aim to entertain the younger generation, targeting them
by using young presenters and showing exclusive information for all of the 'hot music
sensations' at a constant rate. Their TV show displays the music videos of the songs
that they play meaning it would be an ideal place for us to display our music video.
Capital TV
5. Our target audience is likely to be watching Capital TV from 6am-9am
before they go to work or school and it is also during Captials breakfast
show. Another prime time that our target audience are most likely to be
watching Capital TV is after school or their work days at around 6pm
onwards which falls in time with Capitals evening shows.

6. Obviously there are other channels other ways to display music videos
which is why we would also like to upload our video to YouTube because
this is a social platform that will be able to display our video on other social
networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter which are popular amoung
our target audience meaning our video could reach a global audience.
